The evolution of combat, ?King of the Cage' or KOTC is a Mixed Martial Arts organization based in the United States. The organization was created in 1998 by Tedd Williams and Terry Trebilcock. This competitive event pits warrior against warrior in hand-to-hand battles of skill, honor and art.

Over the past couple of years Tedd and Terry have branched out the KOTC name to other promoters. Known to host events almost exclusively at Indian gaming casinos, KOTC is the parent promoter of Gladiator Challenge and.

The event is considered as a minor circuit which features up coming Mixed Martial Arts -MMA stars and veterans. Most of the KOTC shows are now being held in the midwest, Canada, and Australia.

Remembering his meeting with Ted, Terry says ?an unknown man walked into my class one day, and without warning began throwing not only himself but also the rest of the class around the mat room. That person is named Ted Williams.' Ted and Terry formed a friendship which continued into an entrepreneur partnership now known as King of the Cage.
