My daughter unexpectedly came to New York to visit us on Sunday. We already had plans to see the Wicked at 2:00 PM and I was sure that I wouldn't be able to get a ticket for her that quickly. We called Ticket Luck and what do you know? They arranged for tickets on a one day notice. Unbelievable service!"

"Your company is abosolutely OUTSTANDING" Couldn't ask for more personal service. I am looking forward to doing more business with you.

Details of ECW and the Ticket Luck value

ECW
Extreme Championship Wrestling - ECW was founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1992 by Tod Gordon. The company became known not only for its loyal fan base but also for its tendency to push the envelope with storylines.

The organization has featured many different styles of professional wrestling, ranging from lucha libre to hardcore wrestling.

World Wrestling Entertainment - WWE bought the rights to ECW and its library after its 2001 bankruptcy. In 2005 and 2006, WWE promoted an ECW-brand event called ECW One Night Stand. The event became a separate brand of WWE programming, along with Raw and SmackDown in June 2006.

ECW had its origins in 1991 under the banner Tri-State Wrestling Alliance, owned by Joel Goodhart. In 1992, Goodhart sold his share of the company to his partner, Tod Gordon.

Tod renamed the promotion Eastern Championship Wrestling. Eastern Championship Wrestling had a membership of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).

ECW was marketed more towards children for containing many cartoonish gimmicks. ECW, aiming at males between 18 to 35, broke a few taboos such as blading and women beaten up by the male wrestlers.

Heyman saw ECW as the professional wrestling equivalent to the grunge movement. He thus focused on taking the company in a new direction.

In 1994, Jim Crockett's non-compete agreement with Ted Turner was up and he decided to start promoting with the NWA again. Shortly afterwards, ECW withdrew from the NWA and officially replaced its name with Extreme Championship Wrestling.

In 1996, Tod Gordon sold ECW to Paul Heyman who was his head broker. Gordon remained in ECW as only a figure-head commissioner. Years after being the ECW ‘Commissioner', he left ECW.

Despite help from the WWF, Heyman could not get out of financial trouble. The company was on its dying legs and filed for bankruptcy in 2001. He supposedly had never told his wrestlers that he was unable to pay them for well over a month before finally filing for bankruptcy.

The bankruptcy filing included hundreds of claims, encompassing production companies, buildings ECW ran in, TV stations ECW was televised on, travel agencies, phone companies and others. The company was listed as having assets of about $1,385,500.

A few months after the promotion's 2001 demise, ECW reemerged as a stable as part of the World Wrestling Federation Invasion storyline.

As a contestant in the inter-promotional feud between Shane McMahon's WCW and Vince McMahon's WWF, ECW was initially ‘owned' by Paul Heyman. Soon after, it was revealed Stephanie McMahon was ECW's new ‘owner'.

Although WWE used the ECW name, there were deep concerns over the rights of the company at the time. The Rise and Fall of ECW prompted both World Wrestling Entertainment and Shane Douglas to run ECW reunion shows in 2005.

In June 2006, World Wrestling Entertainment – WWE revived ECW as a third brand to complement their existing Raw and SmackDown brands. Under the WWE banner, ECW was presented in a different style to what it was before. ECW now only presents the occasional no rules match.

These bouts are supposed to be fought under Extreme Rules. The highest ranked title on the ECW brand is the ECW Championship. In June 2008, the WWE United States Championship became exclusive to the ECW brand.

We built Ticket Luck to provide ECW and other tickets with a unique plan. Instead of the usual 20% mark up, we decided to go for a 1-2% mark up. At that margin, we don't spend anything on advertizing. If you are lucky enough to find this site, you would have saved a tidy sum for yourself. We hope that we will be successful through word of mouth instead of a massive banner ad. marketing budget.

Our tiny markup pays for the support, the cost of running the website and the toll free number that we provide. We hope to be modestly successful, without being greedy and want you to benefit from our effort. In turn, we hope that you will pass on the good word and provide us with referrals.

These ECW Tickets have been bought by fans, who could not make it to the show. The brokers that we deal with collect the ECW tickets, and we show you the consolidated version. We do appreciate feedback and whether you want to tell us about ECW Tickets or about our service and idea we sincerely appreciate it. We hope that you will drop us a line, if you like our service. We would love a testimonial too, and would love it on our site. If we can improve we would love to know about that as well.

The ECW Tickets are sent via Fed-EX. The prices are often above face value, but that is how the brokers consolidating the tickets from the ECWfans get compensated. We do want to mention, that our tickets are likely to go fast, since the prices are unbelievably low. If you are thinking of getting them, you may want to grab them while they are available.
