Details of College Football National Championship and the Ticket Luck value
The College Football National Championship, formerly held as the BCS National Championship Game, is the most competitive game in college football. It features the best college football teams, each vying for a chance to become the college football National Champion and thus the Number One football team in the US. This year, College Football National Championship tickets have already gone on sale for what promises to be an exciting finals game at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The College Football National Championship traces its history back to the Bowl Coalition, which was held in between 1992 and 1994. In 1995, the Bowl Alliance replaced the coalition and was played until 1997. From 1998 until 2013, the BCS National Championship Game was held, featuring some of the best college football teams in the US. As the new championship game of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, it is the finals of the newly founded College Football Playoff, which replaces the Bowl Championship Series.
In the College Football Playoff, the US's top four teams will play two semifinal games with the two winners then going on to play in the College Football National Championship game to determine who the best in the country is. This is the first time in the history of the NCAA that the football championship has been decided by a bracket competition and is truly a turning point in the history of college football. Its format is much similar to the Super Bowl in the NFL and the NCAA basketball's Final Four. Each year, a different city and stadium will host the championship game.
The first host of the College Football National Championship game will be the AT&T Stadium. The team that wins this game will win a new championship trophy, rather than the American Football Coaches Association's crystal football, which has been awarded since 1986. ESPN will be the game's official broadcaster until 2026. The championship game will also only be held in cities with stadiums capable of seating at leasr sixty five thousand people. The second game, to be held in 2016, will be hosted by the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Similarly, the 2017 game will be hosted at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The BCS National Championship Game, which this game replaces, was held in a four year rotation between the Rose Bowl in California, the Sun Life Stadium in Florida, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans and the University of Phoenix Stadium. The University of Alabama holds the record for the most BCS National Championships won, at three, out of three appearances, a perfect record.
The game is not too far away now and the excitement is building up. Some of the best young players in the country will be bringing their A game to the table to earn the right to be crowned national champions. Book your College Football National Championship tickets and be a part of what promises to be an epic encounter.
