The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are the amazing athletic teams that represent the renowned Coastal Carolina University located at Conway in the state of South Carolina. The fabulous football team has been playing within the FCS since back in 2003. In such a short time, the amazing Coastal Carolina Chanticleers football team has made a number of amazing wins. They have defeated some of the best teams in the FCS; the James Madison University's football team which was ranked first, the Furman University's football team and the Wofford College's team.
In the few years since 2003, this amazing football team has already bagged four different Big South Conference championships with three of them consecutive wins in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and the latest in 2010. The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers baseball team is also the best team in the region as well as the university's best athletic program. It has ranked first four times in 2005, in 2007, in 2008 and again in 2010. Added to that, the team has won over fifty games in these four years, a legendary record. The team has also been home to the NCAA Regionals three times as well as an NCAA Super Regional in 2010. The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers basketball team is also highly successful and amongst the best teams in the Big South Conference; it has won around three Big South Conference Tournament Championships and seven Big South Conference Regular Season Championships. The men's soccer team has also won the Big South Conference Tournament Championship a record nine times.
