Game Day Approaching: Knights Bills Tickets Released

Two American colleges will be going head to head, pitting their best athletes and teams against each other on the field. These are teams fielded by the United States Military Academy located at West Point, New York and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Each of these colleges is a member of the NCAA Division I and competes in the country's elite intercollegiate sports competition. Both colleges have a rich sports history and fans of these teams are already clamoring for Army Black Knights vs Buffalo University Bulls tickets for their upcoming games.

The Army Black Knights play in various conferences. They are one of three hundred college sports programs that are part of the Eastern College Athletic Conference. The program's football team plays independently whereas other teams are part of the Patriot League, Atlantic Hockey Association, Collegiate Sprint Football League, EIGl, EIWA, the Great American Rifle Conference and the National Intercollegiate Women's Fencing Association. Boo Corrigan is the program's athletics director, whose Black Knights play at the Michie Stadium, the Christl Arena, the Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field and the Tate Rink.

Alongside the other two service academies, the Black Knights also compete for the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy, which is a football championship in which all three service schools participate.

The program's official mascot is a mule, in a nod to the importance of the animal in Army operations. Often dubbed as Army in the media, the Black Knights have a fierce rivalry with the US Naval Academy and are all geared up for the Army Black Knights versus Buffalo University Bulls game.

 The other participant in this series is Buffalo University. The Bulls' athletics program is led by Daniel J. White and they are a member of the Mid-American Conference in the NCAA Division I. The Bulls play football at the UB Stadium, basketball at the Alumni Arena and baseball at the Amherst Audubon Field.

The Bulls are often cheered on by Victor E. Bull, their mascot, who appears at all of their big games.

The men's basketball team has been active in the NCAA Division I since the nineties and has played in the National Invitational Tournament. The Bulls have produced numerous players who have gone on to play for NBA franchises. The men's football team has won an MAC Championship and has produced many professional players such as John Stofa and Ed Ellis, who play in the NFL.
