Details of Chivas USA and the Ticket Luck value

Chivas USA
Based in Los Angeles,California, Club Deportivo Chivas USA is a professional soccer club that participates in Major League Soccer. The club was founded in 2004. Antonio Cue and Jorge Vergara are the co-owners of the club. The Home Depot Center is the venue of the home games of the Chivas USA. The Los Angeles Galaxy also uses the same venue for their games. The team shares the same colors of red, white, and navy blue as its parent Guadalajara club.

Latino, or more specifically Mexican, supporters make the fanbase of the team. The team's main language will be Spanish as promised by Vergara. The team's marketing slogan provides this evidence for its inaugural campaign in 2005, "Adios soccer. ¡El fútbol esta aqui!", which translates to "Goodbye soccer, football is here!". " Since 2006, Chivas USA's marketing slogan has been "Chivas USA: Esta en Tu Sangre", or in its English version, "Chivas USA: It's in Your Blood".

Thomas Rongen was the first coach of Chivas USA. However, Rongen was fired and replaced with Hans Westerhof after Chivas' 1?8?1 start. The 2005 Campaign of the team was not encouraging. Following the conclusion of the 2005 campaign, Westerhof was replaced by former MetroStars and Chicago Fire head coach Bob Bradley.

Under Bradley, a major turnaround was seen for Chivas in the 2006 season. They finished in third place in the MLS Western Conference after finishing last with the worst record in league history the season prior. As Coach Bradely had to to manage both the United States men's national soccer team and the United States U-23 men's national soccer team, He left after one season. Preki was appointed to replace Bradely.

Historical Moments:
Jorge Vergara starts an MLS franchise in Los Angeles. He was the owner of the legendary Mexican League franchise Chivas de Guadalajara. To honor his famous 10-time Mexica League Championship team, He names the team Chivas USA. He was also hoping to reach out to LA's large Mexican community.

Chivas' first season would be a disruptive one like many sports expansion teams. Starting with a 2-0 shutout loss on opening day against defending champions DC United, the team would suffer a tremendous downward spiral. The team was successful in winning their first game on May 7 against expansion counterpart Real Salt Lake and then go winless in June, August and September.

There would also be a coaching carousel for Chivas. In midseason, Thomas Rongen was fired and Javier Ledesma was given the opportunity but he could not proved worthy of the position. Then Dutchman Hans Westerhoff was been able to settle for the rest of the season. With a record of 4-22-6, Chivas would find themselves in last place in MLS at season's end. The new coach Bob Bradley and up-and-coming players such as Ezra Hendrickson, Brad Guzan and Ramon Ramirez provided glimmers of hope for Chivas. The brightest moment for the team was its 1-0 win over eventual Eastern Conference champions New England Revolution.

The first year of the team was terrible one. However, With the help of new coach Bob Bradley and eventual Rookie of the Year Jonathan Bornstein, Chivas rebounded nicely. The consistent play by the team and acclimation to the league raised the status of the team. Chivas impressed with 2nd year record of 10-9-13. They were also successful in qualifying for the playoffs for the first time.

As the LA Galaxy failed to make the playoffs, the team would have the LA soccer spotlight to themselves for the first time. Chivas USA were successful in stealing a 2-1 victory against the Houston Dynamo. In this important game Brad Guzan stopped a penalty kick in the closing seconds of the game. However, A successful season for the club saw a sad end due to a huge postgame fight.
