Victor Drobysh is a famous music composer and producer, born in 1966 in the city of Leningrad. He has gained immense fame for working with the National Music Corporation, which has enabled him to collaborate with young and established artists such as Zara, Stas Peha, Avraam Russo, Ivan, Slava, Natalia Podolsky and Tootsie. The composer has also worked in various projects such as the Star-6 which was a Channel One television project, Star Return, Star Ukarine – Russia, Battle of Choirs and Russia-1.
Victor Drobysh had a sense of direction from his college years, when it came to his future line of work. He received his graduate level education in 1998 from the School of Music Order situated at the Leningrad State Conservatory, where he studied under the apprenticeship of Rimsky-Korsakov. Drobysh learnt the piano during this time. In1985 and 1986, Drobysh was a part of the musical ensemble named “Lenkontserta” where he showcased his skills as an instrumentalist and composer. He was also a member of the Russian band named “Earthlings” for which he played the keyboards. By the end of 1986, the composer switched groups and joined the band “Union” for which he provided vocals. It was in 1994 when he was approached by the German music company named the Lorenz Production Company where he worked as a composer. During his time as a composer there, he created instrumental pieces such as “No Angels” and “Culture Beat”.
Soon after the release of these pieces, Drobysh came forward with his debut project called the “BG, The Prince of Rap”. Pieces from this project were able to make it to the very top of German Music Charts. The artist then moved from Germany to Finland where he was signed by the record label company named Edel Records. His very first release was a duet named “Pets” which received gold certification. Another track from the song named “DaDiDam” went viral and he performed his song with the American singer, Christina Aguilera, upon his return to Germany.
It was in 2004, when Drobysh became the co-producer of the television show called “Star-4”. This show was created to take in American Idol graduates and use their creative skills to create new pieces of music, along with already established German stars such as Stas Peha, Natalia Podolsky and Julia Mihalchik. In 2006, Drobysh was then asked to become a part of the sixth season of “Star Academy”, a television show that is produced by National Music Corporation. Then in 2010, Drobysh was made the CEO of the National Music Corporation. In 2010, Drobysh performed one of his most successful and unforgettable concerts. It was at the State Kremlin Palace’s Main Concert Hall. The concert was sold out as Drobysh performed one of his most famous musical pieces called the “Hits and Stars”.
