Details of Tyler Creator and the Ticket Luck value
Tyler Creator is the front-man of music group Odd Future and is an American rapper and record producer to come out on the scene at the young age of twenty-three. He is called the product of the social-network generation. He is not afraid to speak his mind, which is probably why Tyler 'The Creator' Gregory Okonma is such a critically-acclaimed and all-round popular star among youngsters. He promotes freedom of choice and freedom of will. Creator is certifiably controversial and offers one heck of a live show.
All that aside, Tyler's music and lyrics are what set him apart from mainstream musicians. His work is known for being provocative and outright. Tyler also produces and directs music videos and also writes and performs as an artist. His first real hit was 'Yonkers' from his album Goblin.
He co-founded Odd Future and has rapped on nearly every album Odd Future has released. He has also produced tracks for the group. And he hasn't stopped there; The Creator also designs the artwork for the group's albums and designs the merchandise too. Odd Future is a collective hip-hop ensemble and Tyler is joined onstage by rappers Mike G, Domo Genesis, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt and Hodgy Beats. The group also consists of their producers Syd Tha Kyd, Hal Williams, Matt Martians and Left Brain.
He released his first album – Bastard - in 2009 and it gained a lot of attention; shooting up to 32nd position on the Pitchfork Media's Top Albums list in 2010. He then released Goblin in 2011, followed by The OF Tape Vol. 2 in 2012 which was an Odd Future project. Tyler produced the album, which was a follow-up to the group's 2008 album The Odd Future Tape. The OF Tape Vol. 2 received mostly positive feedback and peaked at number five on the Billboard 200.
In 2013, he released Wolf, this one peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. This particular album takes a slightly different track from his previous work and shifts the focus from rapping to the actual sound and beats of the album. Quite interestingly, his first two albums – Bastard and Goblin – were part of a trilogy of albums, which encompass his sessions with fictional therapist, Dr. TC. Wolf, however, is not the album to complete the trilogy and fans can expect more to come from Tyler. The first single from Wolf, was released in February 2014, titled “Domo23”, and came complete with a music video which featured appearances by Jasper Dolphin, Taco Bennett, Domo Genesis and also Earl Sweatshirt, all of who are part of Odd Future.
During the production processes for Wolf, Tyler performed a handful of guest verses for many artists, which is what kept fans hooked. These songs include “Martians vs. Goblins” by Game, featuring Lil' Wayne, “Trouble on My Mind” by Pusha T, “I'ma Hata” by DJ Drama and “Blossom and Burn” by Trash Talk. He also helped in producing a song from MellowHype's third album Numbers, called “666.”
The group also started up their own sketch-comedy show, “Loiter Squad” in 2011 and has featured rappers the likes of Lil' Wayne and Juicy J. It stars Tyler, Taco Bennett and Jasper Dolphin. The show is all set to come back for its third season in May 2014. At the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, Tyler won the award for Best New Artist, for 'Yonkers.'
The group will be heading out on a tour of North America and Europe and will perform on dates scattered throughout May, June and July 2014. Tyler Creator tickets are available for all his fans that simply cannot get enough of him.
