Caesars Windsor proudly presents the Grammy Award winning band of the 90s, TLC on the Colosseum stage. The show will take place at the center on March 28th, 2014. This girl band will also be performing in many other major venues across the nation. TLC will perform its mega hits including “Creep,” “Diggin' On You,” “Red Light Special,” “Waterfalls” “No Scrubs,” and many more live on stage. Previously the group has embarked on many US tours and has attracted millions of fans and that is one of the reasons TLC tickets are selling so fast for the upcoming performances.
TLC entered the music scene in 1990 and treated the fans with their mix of hip hop, R&B, new jack swing, soul and funk. The group originally included singer Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and rapper Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. The members found immense success in the 90s and early 2000s and were at the peak of their career. During that time they produced ten top 10 tracks, four number one songs, four multi-platinum records and bagged five Grammy Awards. TLC quickly cemented their place as the seventh most successful acts in the '90s. Billboard Magazine called them the best-selling female group of all time and VH1's “100 Greatest Women in Music” termed TLC as the number one All Girl Group.
The debut album, Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip was released in 1992 and sold six million units across the world. The album spawned hit tracks like "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg", "What About Your Friends" and "Baby-Baby-Baby". The band's second record, CrazySexyCool surpassed the success of its debut release and was certified Diamond. Notable singles from the record include '"Waterfalls", "Creep", "Red Light Special" and "Diggin' on You”. The album sold twenty three million copies around the world.
In 1999, the trio came up with its third album, FanMail which made it to number one spot on the Billboard 200 Album chart, selling over eleven million units worldwide. The girls embarked on a tour to support the album, becoming the highest grossing tour by a female group. Besides releasing their own singles, albums and touring, TLC also collaborated with other artists. They featured on the track "Crooked Smile" of the American rapper J. Cole. The trio released a compilation album called TLC 20: 20th Anniversary Hits, to celebrate their twentieth anniversary in the music industry. Additionally, TLC celebrated its return to the industry with a Summer World Tour in 2013, which was highly successful.
Currently, TLC is working on their fifth studio record, which will be released this year. The girls have been working with producers like Rock City and pop star Lady Gaga on a track titled "Posh Life". "Breaking Bad" and "Pretty Little Scar" are other confirmed numbers from the album. Lil Mama is also rumored to feature on the record.
The hip-hop sensation, Lil Mama will also be joining TLC on stage for its upcoming show. She recently performed with TLC at the 2013 American Music Awards and the act earned much acclaim. Lil Mama's hit numbers include "Shawty Get Loose" and "Lip Gloss". The diva released her debut album VYP (Voice of the Young People) in 2008, which sold nineteen thousand copies and debuted at number twenty five on the Billboard 200. Apart from rapping, Lil Mama also served as a judge on seven seasons of the talent show; America's Best Dance Crew. She is a great performer and when performing with TLC, the show is going to be a great party that must not be missed. With your TLC tickets, attend this upcoming concert that will treat you to non-stop, electrifying music.
