Details of Tia Fuller and the Ticket Luck value
There is good news for all the fans of classic music and jazz heads as the very talented and immensely popular Tia Fuller is going to be performing at all the major venues in different cities across America, where she would be showcasing her skill as the most accomplished saxophonist. The sound of Tia's music has been described as other worldly and those who have attended her past performances know that through her talent with the saxophone, she can make the members of the audience feel very calm, relaxed, and happy and as if they are slowly falling into a stupor.
The term one man wonder is mostly applied to men who have proved their mark of excellence in more than one fields, and in Tia Fuller's case, she can easily be called a one woman wonder. Because in addition to being a very skilled saxophonist and master of her craft, she also is a very accomplished music composer with countless popular works on her credit, and an educator of music at some of the most well respected educational establishments in the country. In 2003, she was invited by the Jazz Institute of New Jersey as the keynote speaker to speak with the graduating class of that year at the ceremony about the road to success.
It would not be wrong to say that much of Tia Fuller's passion for music and her skill is due to the fact that she was born and raised in a family of dedicated musicians. Music is in her genes and she got it from her parents who were both jazz music lovers. Her father used to play bass whilst her mother would sing in their household band. They would spend hours in the basement of the house practicing their own music compositions. During the same time because of her parents she was introduced to the music of John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, and Sarah Vaughan which made a great impact on her musical inclinations and the sound of these music legends can be heard and felt in Tia's music today. She was able to play classical piano when she was only three, and learned to play flute at nine. But it was not until she reached high school that she found her true love the saxophone. She continued her education in music at Spelman College in Georgia and later from University of Colorado she did her Master's degree majoring in Jazz music.
In her career as a music performer Tia Fuller has managed to work with the best of the best in the music industry. She was lucky enough to play with musical genius Ray Charles when she was still at Spelman College. Later she got a chance to work with Ralph Peterson, the Nancy Wilson Jazz Orchestra, Jon Faddis Jazz Orchestra and be a part of Beyonce's travelling troupe during her world tour. Later on she formed her own jazz band with her sister Shamie Roystan who plays the piano, her sister's husband Rudy Royston who plays the drums with Mimi Jones at the bass.
Tia Fuller has managed to release three albums so far. Her debut album was Pillar of Strength which became a huge critic favorite upon release with tracks like Pillar of Strength, Rain of patience, New Life, I Surrender All and Sunday Nostalgia all becoming huge hits. She followed the success of her debut album with an even bigger album Healing Space in 2007 and then only two years later released her third album Decisive Steps. Her voice in her third album has been described as being more mature, versatile and very creative. In addition to releasing her own albums she often collaborates with other artists like Nancy Wilson and Sean Jones on their music albums.
