The genius mind and hard work of the German -Polish Rock Pop star Thomas Godoj has don some valuable music for the German music lovers. Born in Rynik Poland in March 1978, Godoj has an outstanidng success record.

His parents along with his sister Hannah move to Recklinghausen in 1988 where he joined a secondary school. He started his career as a technical draftsman after graduating from the school.

He attended the Bochum University of Applied Sciences, for specialization in the civil engineering. During this time he had shown interest in the music. He started playing with local bands like Cure of Souls, Fluxkompenstor, Tonk! And WINK.

He became famous after Deutschland Sucht den Superstar success in summer 2007. In the first live show, Thomas performed Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol and received over a minute standing applause from the cheering crowed while the jury gave him overwhelming praise. Thus Thomas has back-to-back super hit performances to reach the top 2 in Germany. He won the final contest with 62.2% marks from the jury.

Another thing, which should be noted that Thomas was a front-runner from the first stage of the competition and he landed twice in the bottom groups during live shows. However, when results were published, it was shown that Thomas received highest percentage of votes every week.

This popularity places him in DSDS history, along with the likes of Mark Medlock as a contestant with highest numbers of marks in every week results. In my point of view, he should be ranked with Medlock and Alexander Klaws who were the only winner those never in the bottom 3. This was the glimpse of opening show of the Godoj great.

Nickname as Tomzilla, Thomas gives more importance to family, friends and health in his life. That proves that he cares every one who is near to him.

He is so courageous about his career that some time he gives things a new touch His debut album was the winner of Germanys best award. He said that he got bashed from all sides for this, but he cant care at all. Despite the worst possible title, his album has best record anyone ever produced in Germany.

Thomas Godoj has chosen a separate path from others and even did not receive any production help from the German pop moloch Dieter Bohlen. That might be the reason that Godoj was very much free to choose the sounds he loved for his songs.

The last song which was placed in the chart was Helden Gesucht on 47th week of 2008. So Godoj has the best song with 37 weeks on chart was Love Is You.

The most succeful song by peak is also the same song Love Is You which peaked at No.1 position. The least successful song is Helden Gesucht which was remained 16 week on the charts. The album hit the chart first time in March 2008 and was last time at the chart on week 43rd of 2008. This was a glimpse of the popular songs by Godoj.
