The brotherly duo, Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans, known as Wayans Brothers, are two amazing comedians best known for starring in the comedy TV series, The Wayans Bros. A situation comedy, the show was created by the two alongside David Steven Simons and Leslie Ray. The hit comedy series had others stars like Lela Rochon, John Witherspoon, Anna Maria Horsford and Jill Taker. Airing in the US and then the world over, the TV show saw five seasons with one hundred and one episodes. The dynamic duo has never looked back ever since. The Wayans Brothers starred in a TV show of the same name that was originally broadcasted on the WB channel from 1995 to 1999. The brothers however d not owe all their fame to this one TV series. The Wayan Bros was on the lives of two brothers, with Shawn owning a newsstand where the two worked. Next to the newsstand was the Neidermeyer Building where their fictional father owned a diner and Dee Baxter, a character played by Anna Maria Horsford, worked as a security guard.

One of the most successful TV comedies of the late nineties, the show propelled the Wayans brothers to the height of fame. It was one of four sitcoms that aired on the WB's two-hour lineup that helped launch a number of new series. It was originally titled Brother to Brother but the name was changed. The show was also aired on UPN, Fox and a number of other TV channels. It also aired on national cable superstation WGN. In 2006, its reruns were aired on BET and have since been aired a number of times.

Shawn Wayans, was born in New York City and is an actor, comedian, producer, DJ and writer. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 1988. He is best known for his roles in The Wayans Bros and In Living Color. He and his brother grew up in Chelsea, a Manhattan neighborhood. He graduated from the Bayard Rustin High School for the Humanities. On TV, Shawn appeared as DJ SW-1 on In Living Color, working as a featured performer alongside other members of his family including sister Kim and brothers Dwayne, Damon, Marlon and Keenen, the show's creator.

The brothers have also starred in movies like Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Hangin' with Mr Cooper, the TV series MacGyver, and others. The brothers have been a part of various other productions. In 2004, they starred in White Chicks.

Marlon Wayans is also an actor, producer, screenwriter, comedian and director who has been active in the entertainment industry since 1988. He rose to fame in 1988 with his role in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka.

Marlon has played roles with his brother Shawn but is also known for his solo acting in other movies and TV shows. He appeared in the critically acclaimed Requiem for a Dream and has also starred in G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, A Haunted House, A Haunted House 2 and The Heat, starring with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.
