Comprising of James McVey, Connor Ball, Brad Simpson and Tristan Evans, the band was formed in 2012 and have since produced several chart topping tracks. Even though The Vamps are relatively new to the music world, they have managed to earn a lot of popularity for coming out with music that keeps fans on their feet every time they perform. With them on tour, this is your chance to grab The Vamps tickets to be a part of a wonderful party. Get in the groove with this young boy group. Their organic unique sound and sheer talent will leave you breathless.
The formation of The Vamps was an idea conceived by James McVey. Recognizing Brad Simpson's interest in music, through YouTube, McVey approached him and together the two of them penned a few songs towards the end of 2011. The pair later talked to Tristan Evans through Facebook and the trio was then introduced to Connor Ball through a mutual friend. This eventually marked the beginning of The Vamps. By the middle of 2012, they had already started putting up their songs on YouTube.
The Vamps first single hit the music scene in 2013. Titled Wildheart, this was their first original song and received more than 40,000 views on YouTube within two days. In August 2013, the band then released the music video of their commercial debut track, Can We Dance, which received over a million views within two weeks. Released in September, this track scored the second spot on the UK Singles chart.
In November 2013, The Vamps announced the release of their debut album. Titled "Meet The Vamps," the album was released on 14th April 2014 and received rave reviews. The third track from this album, Last Night hit second spot in the UK. The album itself also debuted at second spot on the Irish Albums Chart and had their fans worldwide running to stores to get a copy. Other famous tracks from Meet The Vamps, include, Girls on TV, Risk It All, Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart), Another World, Move My Way, Shout About It, She Was The One and Lovestruck.
What is unique about this young quartet, and what sets it apart from other contemporary artists, is that they play their own instruments and they're exceptionally good at it. The band's tunes have hints of both pop and folk, which are infused in their ballads through a wistful guitar feel. Even though the band members are fairly new to the music world, their talents have got people humming their tunes.
The Vamps are also almost always in the news for their live performances. In 2013, they went along with McFly on their Memory Lane Tour. Not only this, the same year they also played at several festival events all around the UK as supporting acts for famous bands and artists like Lawson, Demi Lovato, Little Mix, The Wanted and JLS. In 2014, The Vamps even appeared on the soap opera, Hollyoaks.
Recently, The Vamps have been in the news for their new single, Somebody to You. Featuring the talented Demi Lovato, this single has been ruling the music airwaves and climbing charts. The band members have also made headlines for their upcoming tour with Fifth Harmony and Austin Mahone. And the road trip, like all their other performances, is expected to amaze the crowd.
