Details of The Fray Barcelona and the Ticket Luck value
Who hasn't heard their heart-warming “How to Save a Life” and felt a bit teary-eyed at least once. Especially after it was used in the soundtrack for a show like 'Grey's Anatomy'? The Fray is undoubtedly one of the go-to bands for all those with a taste for the contemporary meshed in with a great rock sound. They manage to keep it current, classic and extremely memorable with every album and every song. “How to Save a Life” came out nine years ago! Nearly a decade old, and the song is still such a favorite on radios and on everyone's personal playlists. It is probably safe to say that the band owes their career's continually successful run to the release of that one song which shot them into super-stardom.
The band came together in 2002 and has released four albums so far. Their newest album Helios came out in February 2014 and ranked at number two on Billboard's US Top Rock Albums chart. On the Billboard 200, it peaked at number eight. It also reached number eleven on the Billboard's Canadian Albums chart. The album reached the Top 100 in many countries, including Korea, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Spain.
Their debut album came out in September 2005 titled How to Save A Life, followed by the self-titled album The Fray in July 2009 and Scars and Stories in 2011. How to Save a Life was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album also went platinum in Canada, Italy, Australia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom and broke Coldplay's X&Y 's record for best-selling digital album of all time. A few still-popular tracks from this record are “Look After You” – which was used in the soundtrack for the movie 'Jumper' starring Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson – “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and of course “How To Save a Life.”
Their second album, The Fray, was certified gold in Canada, Australia and the United States. It also peaked at the top of the Billboard charts, ensuring it a lot of airtime on radio stations worldwide. It was another great success for the band as it peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 and was a top five hit in Canada and Australia. The two songs off of this album that have made it through the years and remained loved, are “Never Say Never” and “You Found Me.” “You Found Me” ranked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, reached number one on the Hot Adult Top 40 chart and spent a whopping thirty-eight weeks on the Hot 100 chart. It is also The Fray's third song to end up selling two million downloads in the States. “Never Say Never” off this record, earned the band a Grammy nomination in the Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals-category. From Scars and Stories “Heartbeat”, “The Fighter” and “Run for Your Life” are some of the most memorable tracks.
Helios is the band's latest offering to their fans. The album's lead single “Love Don't Die” came out at the end of 2013, a few months before the album. It was premiered during one of the band's concerts in the States in 2013. It ranked at number seven on the Billboard's US Adult Top 40 and number eleven on the Hot Rock Songs chart. And now with their fourth album out, fans should keep their fingers crossed for a fifth. The Fray Barcelona tickets are a great chance to hear all these powerful, uplifting tracks performed live for a real chance to experience the emotions and raw-power the band aspires to exhibit with their music. Their concerts are part of the Helios Tour, which will take the band on a nationwide tour through July and then they will also be performing in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium. They are also performing throughout June, playing closed venues and festivals like Summerfest and the Britt Festival.
