The 5 Browns as the evident from the name is group comprised of three sisters and two brothers namely Melody Brown, Deondra, Ryan Brown, Desirae and Gregory Brown. The group belongs to the serene city of Alpine, Utah. Lisa Brown, the mother of these gifted kids had studied sunging and she was the one who encouraged her children to learn music especially the piano. The unusual thing about this group is that all the siblings perform together, play the same instrument i.e. the piano and even the same kind of music which focuses on classical pop and classical crossover. The talent of 5 Browns can be gauged from the fact that they have been endorsed by the world renowned piano manufacturing company Steinway. In the start of the career they were signed with RCA Red Seal records, then the shifted to BMG but currently they have a recording contract with E 1 Music Label.  
 
 
The debut album was released in 2005, this was self-titled. It included tracks like "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", "La Valse" and "Sonata no 3 in a Minor, Op.28". The very next year the second studio album was released that was named No Boundries with a focus on Latin and Spanish music. Songs in the album were "Malaguena", "Feria", "Allegro moderato" and last but not the least the masterpiece of George Gershwin "Rhapsody in Blue, for piano & jazz band." 
 
In 2007 another album was released named Browns in Blue. In 2008 BMG released the fourth studio album by the Browns that was called 5 Stars: Favorites from The 5 Browns.  After this there was a gap of about a couple of years, then came the latest album by the group titled The 5 Browns in Hollywood that was released in 2010. It featured works by famous American composer Bernard Herrmann. This album received four and a half stars out of five from critics clearly proving this to be the bands best effort till date.
