The Amigos Tickets

The internationally recognized Latin dance band is here with a promise of its trademark performance that will make you dance along the music beats. Los Amigos Invisibles play a unique blend of funk, disco and acid jazz with Latin rhymes. The multiple Grammy Awards winner band is famous for its fiery performances and unique party music. Not only are they popular in their home country and the US but also in Latin America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The band has been on a touring spree and visited almost 60 countries. Fans waiting in anticipation for their concert can now get Amigos tickets and catch the band live.

The Venezuelan band came together in Caracas in the 1990s. Bored with lack of musical variety the City's theater and radios offered made the band come to the decision to make their own music. The band came up with the novel idea of having a dance band.  Introducing their own definition of great party music the group launched Los Amigos Invisibles. They blended all styles of Latin music with modern beats and the result was a unique style that immediately caught on with the masses.

A Typical and Auto tonal Venezuelan Dance Band" was the first debut album by the band. It was released in 1995 and it brought them to the forefront.  It was regarded as a phenomenal effort by Los Amigos Invisibles.  The album turned out to be a big hit in Venezuela. They started playing in clubs in Caracas, changing the party club scenes with their music.

It was in the next year that David Byrne discovered the band album and decided to sign the group to his label Luka Bop. This was an opportunity that opened international doors for the Los Amigo Invisibles.

The second album The New Sound of the Venezuelan Gozadera", released two years later was embraced by musicians and the critics warmly. It was a pure party album. Not wanting to categorize itself the band did not limit itself to rock only. It mixed different styles and presented music that was fun.

The next release Arepa 3000: A Venezuelan Journey into Space" released under the direction of Philip Steir got the band nominated for "Best Latin Alternative Album" and a Latin Grammy for "Best Rock Album."

 Amigos moved to New York City after this. They produced The Venezuelan Zinga Son, Vol. 1" that resulted in another Latin Grammy nomination in the category of "Best Alternative Latin Album."

Los Amigos Invisibles started their own label by the name of Gozadera records. Chill Out Venezuela" was the first release that the they produced. It was a collection by Venezuelan artists.  The fifth album by Amigos, Super Pop Venezuela" was first released in their home country and later in US.  The band again got nominated for Grammy for "Best Urban Latin Alternative Album."The album Commercial" won the Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album". It was a big success in Venezuela and debuted at number one on the music charts.

The band has toured and has made appearances at major festivals and prestigious venues. Their concerts are always sold out shows.

The high charged performances of Amigos are described as explosive. There is always a festive atmosphere at their concerts. The crowd is always dancing and shouting. The band certainly knows how to create the party mood that has the crowd dancing and jumping, enjoying the contagious enthusiasm of the performances.
