The Super Freestyle Explosion tour is back to bring you the best songs from the 90s and 80s. After visiting Miami Florida, the concert will make a stop in Boston at the Agganis Arena, before moving on to Bakersfield. The best thing about the concert is that it brings many artists together. The long list of artists features familiar names such as Lisa Lisa, Stevie B, Expose, Stacey Q and Debbie Deb. These platinum stars have given charting singles which they sing on the Freestyle Explosion tour. The infectious dance hits have a special meaning for the generation who heard these songs when growing up. Bringing back memories and great concert experiences for the older generation, the Freestyle Explosion offers the younger audience a great collection of brilliant music. Stacey Q will be part of the big event. She started her career in 1981, as part of a synthpop band 'Q'. The band went through several changes in lineup and Stacey Q decided to start her solo career. She came to the forefront with a bang, releasing her debut album 'Better Than Heaven'. The song 'Two of Hearts' was an instant hit and her most appreciated work till now. She toured extensively after her album released and accepted a role, opposite George Clooney in a sitcom, later. The multi-talented dancer, singer and actor will light up the atmosphere with her electronic pop.
Debbie Deb, whose original name is Deborah Claire Wesoff-Kowalski, will also be one of the performers. A performance on "When I Hear Music"and "Lookout Weekend" is expected to be on the table since these are two of her best known songs.
Expose, one of the few bands to feature in the Super Free Style Explosion are exciting performers. With three female lead singers the band has multiple hits to their name. Consisting of Jeanette Jurado, Gioia Bruno and Ann Curless, the original members, they complement and synch their vocals with ease. Expose's claim to fame is their four top ten hits from their debut album. 'Point of No Return', 'Seasons Change', 'Come Go With Me' and 'Let Me Be The One' are their charting songs. The second album from the band, What You Don't Know', also had huge success. These three vocalists got together in 2006 after the group disbanded in 1996 and you can see them back on stage once again.
One more artist who will definitely set a fast tempo is the 'King of Freestyle', Stevie B. Born with the birth name Steven Bernard Hill, he started his singing career in 1987. His single 'Spring Love' sits at the top of his achievements with the ballad 'Because I Love You'. Spring Love saw a rendition in 2013, which featured the well-known rapper Pit Bull. The new version titled, 'Spring Love 2013' brought the song back in the spotlight.
The Agganis Arena is located in Boston University, and ideal venue for sports and entertainment. The state of the art center is spread over almost three hundred thousand square foot. This translates into almost six thousand seats for ice hockey and ice shows. When needed, the capacity can be increased to eight thousand seats, which is usual for concerts and family shows.
