A well-known classical violinist, Stefan Jackiw from Boston Massachusetts is coming soon to perform live in your city. The gifted artist has been playing the instrument for the past many decades and has been a mentor for many young artists today.  If you want to listen to some good music, now is the time to reserve your Sefan Jackiw tickets.

Right from the age of four, Stefan has been practicing on the instrument.  He also took the Suzuki method lessons from the Longy School of Music. Some of his early mentors who he credits for polishing his talent and providing him with a secure technical foundation include former Cleveland Quartet's violinist, Donald Weilerstein, teacher Zinaida Gilels and French violinist, Michele Auclair. At the age of 12, Stefan made his professional debut by performing the Wieniawski Violin Concerto No.2. Soon he was playing with the Minnesota Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra in London.

Right after the success of his European tour, Stefan Jackiw was on the cover of The Times Magazine. Another UK's classical music magazine, The Strand wrote about the young violinist that, "a fourteen-year-old violinist took the London music world by storm." The same year, Stefan was asked to perform live at the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival alongside the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg. Other than his musical ventures, Stefan Jackiw continued his studies and after finishing high school, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harvard University.

Stefan states some of the great violinists like Fritz Kreisler, Nathan Milstein, Jascha Heifetz and Arthur Grumiaux to be his influences but he always calls Yo-Yo Ma his biggest musical role model. As a young performer, Stefen used to fill in for other instrumentalists but with time, he started to play as a full time orchestra member with several big ensembles. Some of the prominent orchestras that he has collaborated with consist of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. To date, the gifted violinist has performed live in many countries including Japan, France, England, Russia, Australia, Korea, and America.

He has performed at many major platforms like the Winter Arts Festival, Rockport Chamber Festival, Mostly Mozart Festival, Metropolitan Museum of Art's Accolades Series, Caramoor Festival and the Louvre Recital Series in Paris. Other than giving away spectacular live performances, Stefan Jackiw has also been associated with a number of albums such as Brahms Complete Sonatas for Violin and Piano with Max Levinson, Prodigies: Violin Masterpieces from the Greatest Talents, Richard Strauss - Ein Heldenleben, et al. Benjamin Zander and New England Conservatory.  For his service, Stefan Jackiw has been honored with a number of awards and titles as well. Some of them include the Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts, His name is in the list of Boston Globe's  "One of the top two solo appearances of the year," the Avery Fisher Career Grant and Best debut of the year title, 2004-2005 season by Seattle Times and Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Other than working on a number of musical projects, Stefan Jackiw is a regular performer at the summer and winter festival concerts of the Seattle Chamber Music Society. The critics, the fans and many fellow musicians enjoy the way he plays the instrument. Speaking of which, the violin that he plays was made in 1704 by Vincenzo Ruggieri of Italy and the bow was made in the nineteenth century by Nicolas Voirin of Paris.

You can see him play his vintage violin in a live performance by getting your hands on Sefan Jackiw tickets. Prepare yourselves for some non-stop entertainment because this gifted musician never leaves his audience disappointed.
