After working for various artists Stanley Clarke joined a jazz fusion group called “Return to Forever”. Clarke got a lot of wonderful and valuable experience by working with Return to Forever and this work experience gave a great boost to his confidence. The group quickly rose to fame and became one of the most popular mainstream jazz groups.
He has released over twenty albums in his music career. “Children of Forever” was his first solo album and was released at a time when Stanley Clarke had already spent a lot of years as a professional musician. The way the piano, saxophone, clavinet, flute, drums and other instruments came together to create beautiful music established Stanley Clarke as a talented solo artist.
