Details of Skrillex - Day and the Ticket Luck value
Six-time Grammy winning electronic music icon, Skrillex, is now coming to Toronto for a two-day live music event. Molson Canadian Amphitheater will rock on 30th and 31st May with his delightful music. Blending the melodies of Fatboy Slim with the electro punch of Benny Benassi, Skrillex produces his own version of electronic music. His singing and songwriting skills are complimented by his knack for producing new tunes and beats. Known primarily as the former lead singer of the post-hardcore band, ‘From First to Last’, Skrillex began his solo career in 2007. His mainstream success started a year later and still goes on. To be able to watch this remarkable performer in a live concert, get your Skrillex – Day tickets at the earliest.
Skrillex was a teenager when he started performing punk gigs and electro club raves in Mexican American and Echo Park neighborhood. In 2004, Skrillex tried to contact Matt Good of From First to Last band and offered to play guitar for the band. After being heard from three notable studio producers of the time, Skrillex became the band’s lead guitarist and entered the professional world of music. In 2004, when the group released its first full length record “Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count”, it also featured incredible guitar solos by Skrillex. He also appeared on the band’s second album and embarked on several successful tours as its member.
In 2007, Skrillex announced his resignation from the band to pursue a solo career. His first solo work included three demos that he put on his Myspace page, Signal, Glow Worm and Equinox. The ambitious star continued performing and touring all the while and started making name in electronic dance genre. In 2009, he released a digital EP, titled as “Gypsyhook” that had three songs and four remixes on it. Skrillex distributed copies of this EP during his live shows.
In 2010, Skrillex released his official debut EP, “My name is Skrillex”. Before that he has only used this name for live DJ sets and performances, but after the releases of the EP he assumed this name as his full identity. His third EP came out next year, called “More Monsters and Sprites”. As its predecessors, this album also had songs and remixes. These extended plays have featured combination of Deadmau5 style of electronic dance music and The Chemical Brothers’ manner of noisy beats and tunes. This has not only distinguished his works from other contemporaries, but has also allowed him to successfully carve a niche for himself in the music world.
Skrillex has also appeared on the Beavis & Butthead TV series and has also performed in collaboration with the remaining members of The Doors, in “Breakin’ a Sweat”. His latest works released in 2013 include his seventh EP, “Leaving” and another single, Try it Out with Alvin Risk. Now he is coming for a two-day performance in Toronto. Hurry up and get your Skrillex – Day tickets and become part of an unforgettable live music extravaganza.
