Sing' n' Joy is an International Choral Festival & Competition which is held every year at a number of cities including Louisville, Vienna, and  Manila. It is a signature series of choral events including the World Choir Games which were introduced for the first time in 2012 at Cincinnati. Based in Germany, Interkultur is an organization founded in1988 by Günter Titsch whose idea was to bridge the gap between people. The 1st International Choir Competition was organized to bring people together by the way of peaceful singing completion and festivals. There it was observed that the shared enthusiasm of people singing in a choir not only makes the prejudice disappear but also open their hearts and eyes for friendship. This first event proved to be very important in laying down the groundwork for peaceful and convivial co-existence that goes beyond any doctrine or ideology. Due to this instant success and influential philosophy, Interkultur became a global player of all the major musical events within a short time period.

What makes Interkultur a global leader is its huge musical network which consists of delegates from more than ninety countries, representing around 120,000 choirs comprising of 4.8 million singers. Its members include all the leading cultural as well as political personalities, making it a kind of United Nations of choir singing, largely referred to as the World Choir Council. The organization has also got its representatives and regional offices in numerous countries which are supported by countless local authorities and cultural ministries. The American office opened in 2012 in Ohio for the preparation of World Choir Games to be held in 2012.

The flagship event of Interkultur, World Choir Games is Olympic inspired singing competition where, as in any other Olympic sport, participants compete on behalf of their nations. It takes places every second year in the various partner cities of Interkultur. The winners get gold, silver or bronze medal in any of the twenty disciplines with the ultimate goal of grabbing the title of Champions of the World Choir Games. No matter what is the category or age of the competitors, the international jury is there to make impartial judgments. Fairness and transparency of the results of all competitions organized by Interkultur is maintained through MUSICA MUNDI, a seal of quality and a finely-tuned evaluation system that has developed over years.
