Sasquatch Festival Tickets

The Sasquatch! Music Festival is an annual music festival held at The Gorge Amphitheatre, one of the most scenic concert locations in the world located above the Columbia River Gorge in George, Washington. The venue is operated by House of Blues and boasts ecstatic atmosphere and beautiful views all around. The festival is held on the Memorial Day Weekend in May every year and has gradually evolved into a full-fledged three-day entertainment.

The Sasquatch! Music Festival was set up by the concert promoter Adam Zacks in 2002. He founded the festival to serve the demand of music devotees for a variety of eclectic music at one platform. Since 2002, the festival is being staged every year and has featured some of the leading bands in the contemporary music arena.

Although The Sasquatch! Music Festival mainly hosts Indie Rock music; the festival also covers experimental rock, alternative rock and hip-hop performances with occasional comedy acts. The festival features over 100 artists and bands that perform over separate stages. This year’s episode of the festival boasts four stages viz., Sasquatch!, Big Foot, Yeti and Banana Shack. Major artists take the Sasquatch! Main stage while performances of other bands are scheduled on other stages. These stages are set in a way as to ensure that audience of one stage is not disturbed by the sound from the other stages. Over the years, the Sasquatch! line-up has featured various mainstream bands and music artists including Nine Inch Nails, Beck, Pixies, Kings of Leon, The Postal Service, Coldplay, Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals, M.I.A, The String Cheese Incident and Jane’s Addiction. The festival afforded limited line-up in the initial years and spanned over one day only. However, beginning in 2006, the Sasquatch! Music Festival has consistently run for three consecutive days. A fierce hail storm threatened to shut down the music festivity on the second day of 2006 Festival – however, it soon abated much to the relief of music enthusiasts. The 2008 Festival featured a comedy tent for the first time and has been a persistent attraction since then. Since its inception, the festival, its sponsors and partners have been committed to eco-friendly practices by making use of energy-efficient lighting and sound system in the festival. The festival also promotes the use of recyclable items by the audience during the festival. 

The Sasquatch! has become a major attraction for festival-goers and music lovers due to the charm of The Gorge Amphitheatre and the star-laden, energy-packed line-ups of the festival. The Sasquatch!
