The group was created in 1999 and over the years has garnered an immense fan base. The band comprises of M. Shadows the lead vocalist, Zacky Vengeance, backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Arin Ilejay percussionist and drummer, Johnny Christ the bass guitarist and Synyster Gates, backing vocalist and lead guitarist. The band is famous for the varied rock tunes and intensely dramatic cover art on all of the covers of their albums as well as their apparel. The band's debut release, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet had a strong metalcore tune to it.

By the time their third album, City of Evil came out, their sound had greatly evolved. This album was bent towards heavy metal and pure hard rock music genres. Prior to their drummer, James "The Rev" Sullivan, dying tragically in 2009, the band enjoyed a lot of commercial success. However, even after his death, the group members effectively thrived in creating great music with their now former drummer named Mike Portnoy. Deftones will be performing live at the Pointergeist event. They are a popular alternative metal band that comes from Sacramento in California. The group was created in 1988. The band consists of Chino Moreno, the lead vocalist and guitarist, Abe Cunningham, percussionist and drummer, Frank Delgado, turntable and keyboardist along with Stephen Carpenter the lead guitarist and Sergio Vega the bassist. To date the band has successfully released a total of seven albums. Three of their albums have been certified as Platinum and one as Gold by the RIAA.

Ghost B.C., is a celebrated Swedish music band that was created in Linkoping in 2008. This heavy metal band released a three-track demo in 2010 which was later followed by a 7-inches vinyl called "Elizabeth". After this they released their debut album called Opus Eponymous. This album was given a nomination by the Grammis and was received well by their fans and critics alike. Their debut album aided in increasing their fame. Infestissumam, the band's second full length album that was released on a major label, came out in 2013. This album was slotted on the number one position in their country. Their eccentric live onstage presence makes them one of the most recognizable heavy metal bands. Five members of the band are seen wearing hooded robes in each live show while the lead vocalist wears a skull make-up and dresses up as a Roman Catholic Cardinal. Many times over, the music of the band has been cited to be in comparison with known bands such as Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Mercyful Fate and Blue Oyster Cult.
