Details of Pauly Shore and the Ticket Luck value
A wildly goofy, purposely obnoxious stand-up comedian, Pauly Shore exploded to fame as an MTV Video Jockey. He was quick to develop his self-established persona “The Weasel” and moved his trademark character to hit movies like “Bio- Dome”, “In the Army Now” and the most popular “Encino Man”. The original comedian went out of the comic scene for a while but now he’s back with his over the top and hilarious standup comedy. The 42 year old Pauly headlines comedy venues around the country in his latest tours. For all those who loved his work as an actor and a comedian, now a chance to laugh your sides off by getting cheap Pauly Shore tickets.
Pauly was born with the genes of an entertainer because both his parents were linked to the business of entertaining the masses. His father Sammy Shore was a comedian who rocked the Vegas scene by opening for the legendary Elvis Presley. His mother Mitzi Shore ran a well known comedy night club chain called The Comedy Store. Even Pauly’ brother Peter Shore was delved in to directing and producing television shows. Due to his background, Pauly had plenty of inspiration to work as a comedian and debuted as a standup comedian while still in his teen years. His first performance was at Alley Cat Bistro which is located in Culver City. At the time when Pauly’s friends upon finishing school were filling out their SAT application forms, the determined comedian was working hard in the comedy circuit. He was initially mentored by Sam Kinison and opened several of Sam’s show. Kinison known for his ruthless, politically incorrect and intense humor polished the young Pauly Shore’s skills and prepared him for the big arena.
Shore has been surrounded by showbiz his entire life. He was quick to cultivate his own alter ego personality “The Weasel” which immediately became his persona. This new character involved Pauly speaking in Californian and surfer slang type of ‘Valley Speak’. This in turn was inspired by Sean Penn role as the cool, unemployed and marijuana smoking surfer dude, Jeff Spicoli, in the hit 80’s movie “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”. This slang of ‘dudespeak’ nature also included his famous catchphrase “HEY, BU-DDY” which was a fan favorite. The major break in his career came in 1989 when Pauly became an on-air VJ on MTV. Due to his kinky ‘Side Show Bob’ type hairdo, hip slang and undaunted yet intentional loathsome horniness the comedian was able to gain the appreciation of masses of MTV fans which possessed somewhat the same attributes and could therefore relate to Pauly. His own show “Totally Pauly” went on air for four seasons and proved a grand success.
After this top rated show ended, many doors were opened wide for the artist in case of television ventures and film roles. In 1993 he self wrote and starred in the HBO television special “Pauly Does Dallas” and this resulted in him increasing his fan following. In 1999 he took a role in a movie about Hugh Hefner and in the same year hosted the Stony Awards. In terms of major prime time movies, “Encino Man” of 1992 was the most successful in which Pauly starred alongside Brendan Fraser. After the success of the movie many comedy roles were offered to the comedian. These include films like “In the Army Now”, “Son in Law”, “Bio-Dome”, “The Curse inferno” and “Jury Duty”. His performance in the campy parody of The Blair Witch project also fared quite well. He has also voiced characters in two animated movies, “An Extremely Goofy Movie” and “Casper: A spirited beginning”. Most recently in 2003 he released a gutsy movie “Pauly Shore is Dead” which provided a satirical look on the career and life of Shore. The comedian also released several comedy albums which were instant hits. Among these “The Future of America" which was his first, was ranked as the ‘Best Comedy Album’ by the College Music Journalists. His second album “Scraps from the Future” went on to be nominated by ‘The National Association of record Merchandisers’ for the Best Seller Award. Recently back in the game, Pauly Shore is all set to deliver the laughs. Cheap Pauly Shore tickets are now available for fans of this seasoned comedian.
