Paco Pena is a breathtaking Spanish flamenco guitarist, regarded as one of the best flamenco guitarists in the world. He has gained fame internationally, from his native Spain, to the US and as far as Australia. Paco Pena also composed a number of unique compositions and recorded flamenco music. Some of his most famous pieces are Requiem for the Earth and Misa Flamenca. He has collaborated with many an artist and group, as well as founding his own flamenco group and performing in it. He also stages special flamenco shows, such as Quimeras in which his Flamenco Dance Company performs a story on African immigrants arriving at Andalusia and Flamenco Sin Fronteras, which explores ties between Venezuelan and flamenco music.
