Not So Silent Night concerts are a favorite December tradition hosted by various radio stations such as Washington-based 94.7 Fresh FM, and San Francisco Live 105.3, among many others. As always, both stations are featuring quite an incredible lineup for their respective shows with the former featuring pop rock sensation Sara Bareilles, soul singer Gavin DeGraw, Plain White T's and Matt Nathanson, and the latter featuring rock act Kings of Leon, hard rock band Queens of Stone Age and Vampire Weekend. She has since sold more than a million records alongside four million singles in the US, and has gained three Grammy nominations. The artist recently released live album titled Brave Enough: Live at Variety Playhouse, a few months prior to which she released her fourth studio offering The Blessed Unrest. Her other albums include Kaleidoscope Heart, Little Voice, and Careful Confessions issued between 2004 and 2013. Bareilles' hit singles include her latest, Brave, Love Song, Gonna Get Over You, Uncharted, King of Anything, Gravity, Bottle It Up, and River.
The artist has established quite a reputation for playing live having toured with the likes of Maroon 5, Lady Antebellum, OneRepublic, Sugarland, Counting Crows, James Blunt, Mika and Aqualung. Also appearing at 94.7 Fresh FM's Not So Silent Night is blue-eyed soul singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw who is best recognized for songs Don't Want to Be (Theme song on TV drama series One Tree Hill), Follow Through, In Love With This Girl, Not Over You, Sweeter, Soldier, Best I Ever Had, and Chariot. San Francisco Live 105.3's Not So Silent Night is holding a two-night concert with the first night featuring Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys, AFI and Queens of Stone Age, while the lineup of the second night includes such acts as Arcade Fire, Bastille, The Neighborhood, and Phoenix. Kings of Leon who only recently released their sixth studio album Mechanical Bull have created much excitement among the concert-goers for their raw rock appeal. The four brothers are among the most popular rock acts with huge hits like Use Somebody, Sex on Fire, Revelry, Pyro, Radioactive, Notion, The Immortals, Crawl, Wait for Me, Temple, and Supersoaker, where the latter three were issued in 2013.
Playing with them is hard rock act Queens of Stone Age comprising of Josh Homme, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, Tory Van Leeuwen and Jon Theodore. They are known for their characteristic riff-oriented, heavy rock style that developed from such influences as mark Lanegan, Billy Gibbon and ZZ Top. They recently released new album Like Clockwork, which features tracks by their new drummer Theodore as well as performances by previous drummer Castillo. Their biggest hits include Sat by the Ocean, First It Giveth, Burn the Witch, and In My Head, among others. The band was nominated four times for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Hard Rock Performance between 2003 and 2008, for their performance of No One Knows, Little Sister, Go with the Flow and Sick, Sick, Sick. 94.7 Fresh FM, and San Francisco Live 105.3 are both going to put up some of the best No Silent Night concerts yet so do get your share of Not So Silent Night tickets.
