Details of Neil Giraldo and the Ticket Luck value
There have been many celebrity couples in music, but one that has particularly left its mark due to their personal as well as professional collaborations, is the pair of Neil Giraldo and Pat Benator. Neil “Spyder” James Giraldo is one of the most dynamic stars in American music history. His work had been quite underrated until the 1980s, when he met his future wife Pat Benator. Ever since then, the two have been very successful together. This is your chance to catch the legendary artists live in concert, so get your Neil Giraldo tickets now.
Born in 1955 in Cleveland, Giraldo learnt to play the guitar, with the help of his father, at a very young age. As he grew into his teens, his passion for music grew. He developed his musical range further by learning to play the piano. Inspired by Elvis Presley and other bands like The Yardbirds, Giraldo soon began to perform at local bars.
Not long after, he professionally joined Rick Derringer's band as a guitarist. He beat two hundred other applicants to secure the position. However, Rick put Neil's piano playing expertise to work at the band and released the album Guitars and Women.
Mike Chapman, famous writer and producer, introduced Neil Giraldo to an upcoming vocalist in 1979. This young female artist had signed with Chrysalis Records and greatly impressed Giraldo. She was none other than, Pat Benator, who was also moved and inspired by Giraldo.
Not long after, the couple released their debut, In the Heat of The Night, publicizing their steamy love affair. The tracks “We Live for Love” and “Heartbreakers” from this album were major hits across the US.
In 1980, Neil Giraldo and Benator became the first guitarist and first female artist ever to be video casted for the track “You Better Run” on MTV. The track was taken from the Grammy Award winning album, Crimes of Passion. The following year, Giraldo produced their next album, Precious Time. This album won Benator her second Grammy Award.
The couple's continuous hard work and determination earned them another Grammy with their following album, Get Nervous. The track “Shadows of the Night” from the album won this award.
The next year was full of surprises and even more successful for the two, as they decided to get married in 1982. Their album Live from Earth, released another Grammy Award winning track “Love is a Battlefield”. This album considered to contain some of Giraldo's most innovative work.
Inspired by the Count Basie Band, Neil Giraldo and Pat Benator released their next album, True Love in 1989. This album featured songs which highlighted Giraldo's piano prowess as well as Benator's low pitched vocals.
As a result of their successful collaborations, the two artists went viral on radios, jukeboxes, car stereos and the television all over the world. They have sold over a million copies of their albums across the globe.
Neil Giraldo is not only a successful professional musician but has also written two books. One is a coffee table book whereas the other is an autobiography. The singer is also involved in a project with Scott Kempner and Ron Young for a new band. He has his own entertainment company, Bel Chiasso, which he is considering to expand further to incorporate film and television projects. Giraldo has claimed to have numerous unfinished and unreleased songs that are soon going to be completed and released in the following months.
Neil Giraldo has not only produced Pat's albums but has also been the producer for a few other artists. John Waite's Ignition was his first production effort for another artist apart from Pat. His other productions include albums of famous artists such as Rick Springfield, The Del Lords and Kenny Loggins.
Often times, Pat Benator has referred to Neil as The Big Kahuna. She credits him for the way her music sounds on tour and in the studio. The couple is now getting ready to embark on another tour this winter. This is your chance to catch them live in concert.
