Details of Needtobreathe - Day and the Ticket Luck value
Needtobreathe are among alternative rock's biggest names and that has been the case for a good few years now. Their music is as unique as the way they write their name and that is one of the biggest aspects of their success. Their rise to prominence has been achieved through sheer hard work and dedication. They have done things their own way and for that they deserve all the credit in the world. It hasn't been easy but nothing in life is easy. They have hit the road once again for another epic tour and this is your chance to buy Needtobreathe tickets and catch alternative rock at its best.
The story of Needtobreathe traces its roots back to the Possum Kingdom, where Bryant and Bear Rinehart were raised. The brothers got their names as a tribute to Paul “Bear” Bryant, the legendary coach of the University of Alabama's football program. A few years later, the Rinehart's moved to Seneca which wasn't too far away from Possum but the move turned out to be very beneficial for Bryant and Bear.
It was in Seneca that the siblings first got exposed to music of different genres. It didn't take long for the both of them to get hooked and that fascination led them to playing various instruments. Bear went to the Furman University and there he joined up with Joe Stillwell, an old friend to play gigs around the campus. Bryant on the other hand went to Clemson and met Seth Bolt. The four of them got together and that is when Needtobreathe was formed.
They began to come up with their own recordings and then went on a tour of the United States. That road trip brought them to the attention of the masses and it wasn't long before people were beginning to sit up and take notice of their immense talent. All that hard work paid off in 2005 when they caught the attention of Lava Records who proceeded to sign them immediately.
Needtobreathe decided to head off to the United Kingdom for the recording of their debut album, “Daylight.” The album came out in 2006 and was met with a response that can be described as moderate. Daylight's predecessor was titled “The Heat” and it hit the music stores in August next year. The album went on to receive very positive response, especially on the critical front. Allmusic, CCM Magazine, Christian Broadcasting Network, Christian Music Review and Christianity Today all gave it four stars out of five. Jesus Freak Hideout went half a star further. The heat earned multiple nominations at the GMA Dove Awards for its efforts in 2008.
The title of their next album was “The Outsiders” and it came out on 25th August, 2009. The album went on to debut at the twentieth spot on the Billboard 200 on its way to selling an impressive twenty one thousand copies in the first week after its release. Allmusic and Indie Vision Music both gave it four stars out of five while Jesus Freak Hideout and Melodic.net increased that rating by another half star. New Release Tuesday gave it all five out of five. The Outsiders also won two Dove Awards.
Needtobreathe were among the biggest names in alternative rock by that time and they made the most of that momentum by coming out with their next album titled “The Reckoning.” It turned out to be their biggest hit yet. The album debuted at the top spot on the Billboard Christian Album and the Billboard Rock Albums. It sold a whopping forty nine thousand copies in the first week. Allmusic, CCM Magazine, Christian Music Zine, Christianity Today and Melodic gave it four starts while it got all five stars from Louder Than the Music.
Needtobreathe's most recent release, “Rivers in the Wasteland” came out in April, 2014 and captured top spot on both the Billboard Christian Album and Rock Album charts on its debut. CCM Magazine and CM Addict rated it at four stars out of five. Christian Music Zine and New Release Tuesday considered the album good enough to get all five stars.
Needtobreathe have been nominated for thirteen Dove Awards in different categories and they have managed to win ten out of those which is an incredible achievement. This is a band that isn't stopping anytime soon in pursuit of excellence. Watch them hit the stage live as they head off on another tour by booking your Needtobreathe tickets.
