Magik*Magik was the part of 2011 and 2012 Stern Groove Festival which aimed to make children learn about orchestral conducting and also performed with How To Dress Well in Chicago, during the 2011 Pitchfork Music Festival.
In the last two years, the band went on to perform and collaborate with many successful artists which included The Walkmen, Zoe Keating and was a part of festivals like Other Minds. The orchestra also played alongside Death Cab For Cutie on their 27-date tour in 2012.
