Machine Gun Kelly is the stage name of Richard Colson Baker, an American rapper based in Shaker Heights, Ohio. He earned his stage name due to his characteristic rapid lyrical flow, referring to the criminal of the same name. First came to prominence upon issuing four of his earliest mixtapes namely Lace Up, 100 Words and Running, Homecoming and Stamp of Approval, all of which were released between 2006 and 2010. In the same year he was offered a recording contract with Bad Boy Records that is associated with the well-established Interscope. Kelly has appeared in the XV track Finally Home.
