Details of Kix Brooks and the Ticket Luck value
An American actor, film producer and country musician, Kix Brooks, has proved his worth in the music scene time and again by selling out some of the best venues across the country. And he's once again all set for some great live shows. The artist is known best for hosting “American Country Countdown” and for being part of the legendary duo, Brooks & Dunn. A spectacular vocalist, he has received a lot of critical acclaim for doing things out of the ordinary when it comes to vocals. His wonderful voice and writing has earned him countless die-hard fans in his career and the huge demand for Kix Brooks tickets is definitely a testimony to his fame.
Brooks initially kicked off his career with the encouragement of his father. He moved to Nashville to pursue his passion for music in the early 1980s. He began his career by working as a songwriter for Tree Publishing and soon released his debut track, Baby, When Your Heart Breaks Down. Later, Brooks also co-wrote the track Modern Day Romance released for The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and the single became their second number one song on the country charts. In 1989, he released a self-titled album with Capitol Records. The single Sacred Ground from this album received rave reviews.
Brooks provided backing vocals when he was one half of the duo, Brooks & Dunn. Some of the tracks where Brooks has provided lead vocals include Lost and Found, Why Would I Say Goodbye, South of Santa Fe, You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone, Rock My World (Little Country Girl) and the number one hit track, Mama Don't Get Dressed Up For Nothing. All these songs earned worldwide fame.
Brooks & Dun decided to disband after twenty years of touring together. They released a greatest hits album and eventually disbanded in 2010. From 2012, Brooks started his solo career with the release of a 12 track album, "New To This Town". Most of the singles in this album, including the title track, were co-written by Brook and were lauded by critics. His sophomore album also garnered equal acclaim. His other albums include “New To This Town” and “Ambush at Dark Canyon” released in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
Brooks has won several awards and honors together with Dunn. In fact they have bagged more Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association awards than any other country music band in history. Not only this, they have scored back to back Country Music Association Vocal Duo of the Year awards ever since their debut. The only times the duo didn't win was in 1991, 2000, 2007 and 2009. They have sold more than 20 million singles and continue to be one of the most rocking touring acts in the music circuit. Brook was inducted in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2013.
Recently, Kix Brooks & Ronnie Dunn were honored with the prestigious 50th Anniversary Milestone Award in memory of their groundbreaking career achievements in ACM Awards history. The duo has also been in news for performing a series of concerts in Vegas along with Reba McEntire.
