Rock ballads like "If you were like me", "When we live", "To the tomorrow" and "She has gone" featured on the album won him critical acclaim.
Hoon’s climb started right at the beginning of his career. Soon after the release of the fourth album, he was signed by big record companies of the country. His next three albums “Fool”, “Innocence” and “Natural” each came one a year apart. They kept fans and music lovers occupied with the Hoon mania. The mania grew into madness when Kim cut down on his touring. Fans wanted to see him live, but he was away preparing for television.
In 2004, the artist came back to mainstream music with “Novely Hero Newspaper with Cho PD”. This album brought Hoon back into momentum, he was recording more and touring frequently. “Piece” (2005) was followed by “It’s me” ( 2006), the latter becoming his last full length album until he released “Adieu” (2012). While fans waited for “Adieu”, Hoon entertained fans with many variety programs on Television as well as a couple of digital singles.
