Hart's lucrative appearances in major shows, including The Montreal Comedy festival, led him to perform in various feature films. The most notable are Scary Movie 3, Scary Movie 4, Paper Soldiers and Along Came Polly. He has also appeared as a guest on such TV Series as Undeclared and Class of '06.
Besides selling out performing venues with his own written humorous content - Kevin Hart also tried in production area. He served as co-executive producer for The Big House which was aired on ABC in 2004. That year also saw him making an appearance in the movie Soul Plane. It was a comedy motion picture produced under MGM banner. Hart received critical praise for his role in Soul Plane in which he played the character of a man who started his own airline having undergone several bad experiences.
Kevin Hart managed to grab a Platinum Mic Viewers Choice Award at the BET Comedy Awards in the subsequent year. Hart's fan following drastically grew when Comedy Central went on-air. Comedy Central was his own half-hour special which received positive reviews. In 2008, Kevin appeared in a film called Bigg Bunny in Fool's Gold.
