Details of Kari Jobe and the Ticket Luck value
Kari Jobe has become one of the frontrunners of Christian music in North America in recent years. Her self-titled debut took her to new heights and her recent album Majestic has added to her popularity on the charts.
Her music career starts
The Texan began her career in 2004 with her first album, Throneroom Worship: Live Acoustic Worship. The album was a compilation of worships that she led through her early years. The live concert album brought in nationwide recognition and fame for her, with many Christian rings praising her lyrics and voice.
This effort was soon followed by her first Christian album, Bethlehem. This was another success that furthered her efforts into preaching the Word of God and spreading the love of Jesus Christ.
The singer-songwriter made her full-feature debut with a self-titled debut album in early 2009. The album was preceded by the single “I'm Singing” that charted at number thirteen on the Billboard Christian Singles Chart.
When the album hit the shelves, it was an immediate success on the Billboard Christian Albums chart, where it landed at number three. Other charting singles from the album include “Revelation Song,” “Sweep Me Away,” “My Beloved,” “You Are for Me” and “Healer” among others.
Within a few months of Kari Jobe, the singer released her debut album in Spanish. Each single was translated and tuned to cater to the Hispanic audience in her Gateway Church and the music fans that she garnered over the years.
Le Canto was a huge success, not only in the US, but in the Latin world as well. It broadened her fan base to South America, Oceania and Europe. Soon after, she was nominated for three Dove Awards out of which she won two; one for Le Canto and one that she shared with Matt Maher for their collaboration album.
Where I Find You
Three years later, Jobe released her second studio album, Where I Find You, which charted at number ten on the Billboard 200. It became her first chart-topper on the Christian Albums chart. Apart from its commercial success, the album also nabbed for her a Grammy Award nomination for 'Best Contemporary Christian Album'.
In spring 2014, Kari Jobe released her latest and third album, Majestic, which is her second live album. It is a compilation of new songs and material that was recorded at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas in fall of the previous year.
Released through the Sparrow Records label, the album charted at number one on the Christian Albums chart while securing the number twelve spot on the Billboard 200. The album was certified within weeks of its release and went on to sell thousands of copies in the US.
Musical style and inspiration for Majestic
Jobe won widespread critical acclaim for her musical style; from “How Majestic,” which is an ode to God's grandeur, to “Let The Heavens Open,” which is a plea that strums the hearts of all Christians, the album has it all. The single “Forever” is a redemption story that shakes the foundations of belief and faith whereas Jobe found the inspiration for “I Am Not Alone” in Exodus 14:14.
The musical style of the thirteen-track album varies from ballad to worship anthem and from mid-tempo guitar single to rock-inspired track; Jobe does not stop to impress her fans and the critics.
The 2015 tour for Majestic
After Majestic, Jobe is now touring worldwide in promotion of her album. As part of her 'Majestic Tour 2015', she will be visiting numerous cities in the US, Canada and the UK. She will also be headlining festivals and events including the Relentless Youth And Young Adult Conference, Alive Festival, Wonder Jam, Spirit Song, Celebrate Freedom, Women of Joy and Outcry events among others.
