Details of July Talk and the Ticket Luck value
After dropping their eponymous debut album in 2013, July Talk took the road earlier this year to kick off their international tour that will have them performing various dates in Europe and Canada. July Talk originally hails from Toronto, Canada but this year the group is determined to hit various European markets as well with its album releases and live shows in cities like Manchester, Brixton, London, Munich, Leiden and several more. July Talk tickets went on sale earlier this year, before the group played the first show of its ongoing summer tour on May 23, 2014. The tour is expected to come to an end on August 31, 2014 with a live set at the X-Fest in Calgary. Fans of the band or indie rock music in general are in for some raw energetic live presence as the group performs tunes like Summer Dress and Paper Girl.
July Talk originally came into existence when the singer, Peter Dreimanis came across the singing talent of Leah Fay, and together they formed July Talk. Shortly after, the duo found its own sound and its own brand of music which took bits from different domains of genres and music. The vocals of both Fay and Dreimanis went on to establish the sound of July Talk and as the two fuse their influences together, they create a sound that is original yet nostalgic at different levels.
July Talk enjoys a substantial amount of following in their hometown of Toronto, Canada. The group has performed several sold out concerts in Toronto, and it looks forward to do the same this year with its concert tour. July Talk's live performance is all about raw energy and live participation of the viewers. The group usually opens its live concert with a performance of the Garden which is also the first track on its self-titled debut album. As Leah Fay joins Dreimanis later in the song, both of them develop an onstage chemistry that adds theatrical elements to the whole live experience. The duo maintains perfect on-stage persona that mesmerizes the audience while organically portraying the themes of love, hate and more. The remaining band mates of July Talk also play their role pretty well to turn this spontaneous theatrical experience more engaging for the fans. The group ends the set with a live performance of its single Paper Girl, which leaves all the attendees enchanted and have them sing along the chorus.
Before releasing its debut album in October 2013, July Talk toured extensively throughout 2013 along with acts like Billy Talent, Matt Mays, Sam Roberts, Besnard Lakes, and Arkells. With their live concerts, July Talk established quite a dedicated fan following and ever since then they have been enjoying reputation as one of the most engaging and energetic live indie rock bands of our time. After coming home from an extensive North American tour all through 2013, July Talk worked on their album which hit the music stores later on October 16, 2013. In Canada the album was released by Sleepless Records, while in the UK it was released by Polydor and Universal Records released the album in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Following their debut album, the group has announced an international tour that will take it through venues in Europe before coming home to perform in Canada. During their run in Canada, July Talk will take the stage at renowned summer festivals like Squamish Festival, Sonic Boom and X-Fest. The Canadian leg of their tour will kick off on July 3, 2014 at Festival D'ete in Quebec City. July Talk tickets are on sale for any and all of the upcoming dates of their ongoing concert tour.
