The goalie-masked Hollywood Undead is an emerging rap rock rage from Los Angeles. This band was formed in 2005 and they seized their fame from My Space by uploading their songs. The band members include Charlie Scene, Da Kurlzz, Deuce, Funny Man Johnny 3 Tears and J-Dog. Shady Jeff was also a significant member of the band at the time of origination but later he left them leaving behind the current members. Charlie Scene in the band is the lyrical genius and has also directed the new video of "everywhere I go". J Dog is the sweet talker in the songs while Da Kurlzz is the loud voice. The lead singer of the band is Deuce. Funny man and Johny 3 Tears are the African baritone and the server respectively.

The musical inspiration of the group includes Brassknuckles Bud Ice, HOLLYWOOD California, Cahuenga blvd, Camo, Cigarettes, Designer Jeans Mickey's 40's, Freestyling, Hibbidy Hop, HXC, OUR FANS, Pro Tools, partying, Riding Bikes Drunk, Subway Sandwiches, Shitty Society, Sidekicks, Tattoo's And The Powerhouse. Their musical tone is dominated with metallic rock and rap core incorporating strong beating drums, piano and electric guitars. Their vocals is combination of sounds integrate rap with rock and sweet pop tone using combating qualities as a way of expression. The subject matter of their music connotes towards the destructive drive, unrest and emptiness of life. Their music is for the youth who can connect with their anger and their songs serve as an outlet. The band does not restrict itself to one genre and always believes in experimenting.

The Hollywood Undead's song "the kids" was their claim to fame in 2005. The band members Deuce and J-Dog posted it on their MySpace profile. In weeks their song became a rage on MySpace with millions of hits and soon they became the top unsigned artists on MySpace. In 2008 Virgin Mobile Festival was their debutant live performance after winning around 3 million of votes in book the band contest against four contemporary bands.

In 2008 Hollywood Undead released their first album entitled as "The Swans Songs". The name of the album refers to the last song swan sings before she dies and the name is an ironical connotation to their first album. Their album featured tracks like Undead, Sell Your Soul, Everywhere I Go, No Other Place, No. 5, Young, My Black Dahlia, This Love, This Hate, Bottle and a Gun, California, City, The Diary, Pimpin and Paradise Lost. Along with these tracks special edition featured bonus tracks as well. The music videos of Undead, Young, No.5 and Everywhere I Go are already released and the album sold over 21,000 copies in its first week. Madden NFL 09 soundtrack and UFC 2009 Undisputed incorporates the swan songs' second single Undead in it. The Stephen Sommer's live-action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra also uses instrumental version of Undead in their promo. Their song "Young" is featured as background score of an Xbox game Velvet Assassin.

The band created their musical album one year, while it took them two years to find a recording company. They had to work hard to find a company that would release their songs uncensored and finally they found A&M/Octone Records. The album stayed for many weeks in the Billboard 200 by hitting a spot in the first week of the release.

The Band has later on released Swan Songs B-Sides EP through iTunes and is touring various regions including Japan, Europe, UK and US.
