In 2008 Hollywood Undead released their first album entitled as "The Swans Songs". The name of the album refers to the last song swan sings before she dies and the name is an ironical connotation to their first album. Their album featured tracks like Undead, Sell Your Soul, Everywhere I Go, No Other Place, No. 5, Young, My Black Dahlia, This Love, This Hate, Bottle and a Gun, California, City, The Diary, Pimpin and Paradise Lost. Along with these tracks special edition featured bonus tracks as well. The music videos of Undead, Young, No.5 and Everywhere I Go are already released and the album sold over 21,000 copies in its first week. Madden NFL 09 soundtrack and UFC 2009 Undisputed incorporates the swan songs' second single Undead in it. The Stephen Sommer's live-action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra also uses instrumental version of Undead in their promo. Their song "Young" is featured as background score of an Xbox game Velvet Assassin.
The band created their musical album one year, while it took them two years to find a recording company. They had to work hard to find a company that would release their songs uncensored and finally they found A&M/Octone Records. The album stayed for many weeks in the Billboard 200 by hitting a spot in the first week of the release.
The Band has later on released Swan Songs B-Sides EP through iTunes and is touring various regions including Japan, Europe, UK and US.
