Hollywood Ending is the result of a dream shared by three young boys coming together from Maryland and New York - the dream of making a big name in the music industry. Hollywood Ending tickets for concerts in Patchogue, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas and Phoenix are open for sale. The band recently started its journey in 2011 as a four-piece band. The members of the band at the time of inception were Daniel Martin Geraghty, Cameron David Byrd and Tyler Wilson specializing in vocals and guitar. Chris Bourne later joined the band as a bassist. He used the networking of his brother James Bourne from Busted to enter the band. Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing competition season 4 gave them a break when they stood third in the competition. During that time, they were successful in releasing two singles “I’m So Over You” and “You Got Me”. The singles were widely heard on Radio Disney and were successful in gathering a wide fan following. In the beginning of 2013, the band’s bassist Chris parted ways.
All the members of the band come from different backgrounds hence bring different styles and flavors to the band. The interesting thing about the current band members is that they all are eighteen years old and share the same birth year, 1994. The crazy red haired boy Daniel Martin Geraghty (guitar and vocals) from Baltimore is the lead guitarist and known for his fun loving personality. He was fond of playing guitar from a young age; his passion persuaded him to pursue music as a career. He is adored by his fans and always tends to return the love by connecting with his fans.
Cameron David Byrd (guitar player/vocalist) from Silver Springs dreamt of performing with a band since the age of eight. His passion for music is inspired from the bands Maraday Parade and All Time Low. He played as the lead vocalist for the song “Famous”. Cameron is known among his fans as the boy who “always has a smile on his face” during his performances. Tyler Wilson from Carmel joined the band as lead vocalist. He grew up picturing himself as a rock star. Along with talented singing, he is also a multi-instrumentalist. He brings a high level of energy to the band and the performances. He is widely known for his love for the TV series Vampire Diaries.
Since the inception of the band, Hollywood Ending appeared in three tours. The band played successful sold out shows all across Canada and the United States opening for renowned artists. It included opening shows for Allstar Weekend, Action Item, Honor Society and many more. Hollywood Ending released the debut EP in the summer of 2012 under the title, “Always 18”. The release of their debut was followed by a tour with the band, The After Party. Year 2013 opened with the band touring the country and playing numerous headlining shows. They also released “You”, a new single. Hollywood Endings also had their first trip with the YouTube comedy group, The Janoskians to the UK. Chris temporarily re-joined the band for the tour with The Janoskians. The band spent rest of the year writing, recording and meeting their fans in different parts of the world.
The unique selling point of the band is that they establish a connection with the audience during their performances and that’s how they make a place in the hearts of listeners. The band is known for the fun and liveliness they bring to their performances. Former member Chris used to call the band Jett! “meaning awesome or cool”.
