Haste The Day
Haste the Day is a metal core band formed in 2001. This band has made its mark in a very short span of time. Currently signed with Solid State Records from Indianapolis, Indiana; the band boosts of great talents of Michael Murphy, Jimmy Ryan, Brennan Chaulk, Stephen Keech and Jason Barnes.
All of them possess great sense of music that can be shown in their albums and those impeccable live performances the band is famous for.
The band was formed when Guitarist/vocalist Brennan Chaulk, his drummer brother Devin, and bassist/vocalist Mike Murphy gigged as a three-piece.
Some times later, they added longtime friend Jason Barnes as a second guitarist. After a series of auditions, they named Jimmy Ryan their lead vocalist who later leaved the band in 2005.
Haste The Day first emerged on the scene with a self-produced EP That They May Know You. This album was released in 2002 and earned them applause from different quarters.
It was after this album that Solid State Records signed the band in 2003 for future albums. The band released their debut Burning Bridges in 2004 that was followed by When Everything Falls in 2005.
Pressure The Hinges was the third outing of this Christian metal core band Haste that also marked the debut of Stephen Keech as lead vocalist, and also Jason Barnes as guitarist. The album was released on March 20, 2007 through Solid State Records.
It was a run away hit from day one and sold about 10,000 copies in its first week. Along with the regular version of Pressure the Hinges, a deluxe version of the album was also released that included live footage and three bonus songs.
Dreamer proves the next outing of Haste The Day. The band released this fourth studio album in 2008 through Solid State Records.
The album was a real delight for all the fans of the band as it includes beautiful tracks like 68, Mad Man, Haunting and Autumn that was originally from their first album That They May Know You.
