American rock group Haim is on its North American tour, and will be performing in various cities. The band has included a performance at the House of Blues, Dallas. This California-based sister-band consisting of Este Arielle, Alana Mychal Haim and Danielle Sari is ready to set the stage on fire. Haim tickets are now up for sale, so book your share right away to be able to attend their concert in your city.
The group made its musical debut on "Saturday Night Live", and was also a breakout act of Coachella. Its music is very much like Fleetwood Mac's and has been called the "nu-folk sound merging with the nineties-R&B". The sisters performed at Glastonbury festival in 2013 and received Sound of 2013 poll's top ranking.
The girls have always been interested in music and were members of their family band named RockinHaim. At the same time, Este and Danielle were also members of another group named the Valli Girls, which took inspiration from Queen, Gwen Stefani, Blondie and The Pretenders. The two also made an appearance on a track in the movie called, “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” in 2005. Their single "Valli Nation" appears on the soundtrack of Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, alongside pop superstars like Alicia Keys, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan.
All three of the band members are also multi-instrumentalists. Danielle can play drums and guitar, Este plays bass and Alana is an expert on percussion and keyboards. However, during the live performances the bas is played by Este, Danielle serves as the lead vocalist and plays guitar while Alana plays keyboards, percussion and rhythm guitar.
The sister act came up with the debut record, "Days Are Gone", which debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 and enjoyed the sale of twenty six thousand copies. In the UK, the album reached at number one and sold thirty seven thousand units. On its release, the album received considerably positive reviews from critics. The album featured songs like Don't Save Me, The Wire, Forever and If I Could Change Your Mind.
The girls have also performed shows as supporting act for artists like The Henry Clay People Kesha, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. Haim came up with its first release in 2012, which was an EP named “Forever”. It gained considerable attention from public and critics. This led Haim to embark on a tour. Apart from performing their own gigs, the sisters also supported Mumford & Sons on "Gentlemen of the Road Tour". Haim toured across the UK the same year and served as an opening act for Florence and the Machine.
Although their music is compared to that of the famous band, Fleetwood Mac, the girls claimed that their inspirations were more contemporary. According to them, they take inspiration from Destiny's Child, TLC, Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey and Jessie Ware. However, whatever inspirations they might have, they create a unique sound, which is loved by both, the fans and the critics.
The sisters' contributions to the music industry have led to their winning of several awards, including BBC Sound of 2013 and two NME Awards for “Best International Band”. Haim is now coming to your city for a rocking performance. With Haim tickets, you can attend their concert, so book your share right away.
