Flux Pavilion is a dubstep producer as well as a Disc Jockey (DJ) from the United Kindom. His real name is Joshua Steele, however he is known by his professional stage name of Flux Pavilion. Along with Dyspro, Doctor P and DJ Swan-E he has co-founded the Circus Records. In 2011, he released a single titled as “Bass Cannon” through which his popularity increased in the music industry. This single of his successfully went on the number 56th position on the UK Singles Chart. The single was also given a placing on the A-List of Radio 1. Together with Doctor P, he effectively presented the compilation music album in 2011 known as Circus One. In this album, Pavilion contributed a total of four songs. Record producer, Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph sampled his song titled as “I Can’t Stop” which came out in August of 2011 as a hip hop album. Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph also sampled the album of Kanye West and Jay-Z known as Watch the Throne.
In the BBC’s Sound of 2012 poll, Flux Pavilion was given a nomination as one of the two independent music artisits in a long lost in December 2011. On the 5th of March in 2012, his song “I Can’t Stop” was featured in SSX (2012 video game) and also utilized in the viral campaign of Kony 2012. Flux Pavilion was born on the 15th of January in 1989 making him 23 years old. He comes from Towcester in the UK. His main music genres comprise of dubstep and electronic. Apart from being a fantastic DJ he is also a music producer. He has been actively a part of the music industry since 2008 till the present day. He is associated with the music recording label known as Circus and he has given some mind blowing performances with Example and also Doctor P.
Flux pavilion has released two extended plays. Boom which is in collaboration with Datsik and Excision which was released on the 15th of January in 2009 and Line in Wax which was released on the 11th of October in 2010. In 2011 he released two singles, one titled as “Bass Cannon” and the other was “Superbad” which was in collaboration with Doctor P. in 2012, and he released his single known as “Daydreamer” which features Example. This latest single of his has been a critical hit and has been super successful amongst his avid fans.
In the latest single of Flux Pavilion, “Daydreamer”, he utilizes his signature DJ sounds with the English rapper and singer Example. In this single of his, you can hear him elevating the song into an anthem status. The introduction of the song gently builds up to the much needed tension with militaristic sounding snare outline.
