Country music has produced many stars like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks who have broken the genre's norms. These artists have defied trends to create something new and original. With a music legacy in place, they have left in their wake the seeds of the future. A country duo that took complete advantage of this heritage is none other than Florida Georgia Line. Five years in the industry, they have already made it to the top of the charts and have won hearts all across the world.
According to the members, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, they have managed to achieve immense success in a short time by following the simple mantra – “Anything Goes”. There are no boundaries, no rules and no genre in their music. They have set their own standards and formed an ingenious style that has turned them into a sensation. The duo is currently on their Anything Goes Tour, which is in support of the sophomore record “Anything Goes”. Joining them on this trek will be Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard. These phenomenal musicians will be performing all around the US and you can attend their rocking concert with your Florida Florida Georgia Line Tickets.
Entering the music scene in 2010, Florida Georgia Line made their presence known in 2012. Their single “Cruise” put them on the map and paved way for the duo to become the biggest country act of the new decade. A crossover hit, “Cruise” is a contemporary tune infusing the elements of R&B in both the rhythm and melody. It reached 16th position on the Billboard Hot 100 and continued its rise on the charts after it was remixed by the rapper, Nelly. The remixed version peaked at number four on the charts. Hubbard and Kelley showcased their talent with subsequent hits like, Round Here, Get Your Shine On and Stay.
Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard hail from Florida and Georgia respectively and hence came up with the band name Florida Georgia Line. They met at Nashville's Belmont University and began writing songs. They started performing at local clubs and slowly gained confidence, all the while developing a contemporary country sound. Through their wonderful music, the duo found a strong fan following in the Southeast club circuit and went on to release their first EP. Titled “Anything Like Me”, it came out in 2010 and earned them a deal with the label Big Loud Mountain. Under the producer Joey Moi, Florida Georgia Line recorded the single It'z Just What We Do.
Soon after, the band came up with their first record “Here's to the Good Times” and it was a huge hit. The album topped the Country Albums chart and recorded sales in over 1.5 million. An extended version was released during the holiday season of 2013 titled, “Here's to the Good Times...This Is How We Roll”. It featured a duet with Luke Bryan, This Is How We Roll, which topped the Hot Country Songs list.
Florida Georgia Line's second effort “Anything Goes” hit the shelves in 2014 and ended up topping the Billboard 200. It treats the listeners to an eclectic mix, featuring twang-reggae number Sun Daze, rowdy title track and the wickedly delicious single Good Good. The lead single Dirt is a classic country number and it made it to the number one position on the charts.
Florida Georgia Line is treating the fans to the live versions of all these tracks in their ongoing Anything Goes Tour. They recently put up a spectacular performance alongside Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard at the Madison Square Garden. The jam-packed crowd was treated to the popular numbers by the musicians and had a great time. They are ready to set more arenas on fire, so hurry to get your Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett & Frankie Ballard tickets.
