En Vogue is an American female R&B vocal group hailing from Oakland, California that has been active since 1989. Their second album, Funky Divas, ranked eighth on the Billboard 200 and first on the Billboard R&B charts. It was certified multi-platinum after selling millions of copies. Its singles also ranked first on the R&B charts.
En Vogue released an EP followed by their third album, EV3 which ranked eighth on the Billboard 200 and R&B charts. Its song “Whatever” ranked first on the charts and was certified gold. Like all of its previous albums, it was certified platinum. Two more albums were released and several years after, the new millennium was spent with members working on solo projects and leaving the band. A new single was released in 2011, marking the return of the group, amidst much anticipation, including several live shows seen by many through cheap En Vogue tickets.
