He started off as a young performer and polished his singing talents at the Conservatorio de Música de Barcelona, which led to his first European tour. Following his performance at El Festival de la Canción del Duero, Dyango caught the attention of many music lovers and his career began to gain momentum. The album debuted at number three on the Latin pop chart which was undoubtedly a good start.  Following its success,  Dyango became a major star, not only in his native Spain, but all over Latin America and in heavily Hispanic areas of the United States.  He was soon approached by other record label companies including Universal, RCA, Capitol, Polygram, Klasico and Sony Music Entertainment. Throughout the 80s and 90s, Dyango recorded a series of studio albums that produced a number of hit singles. To date, the Latin Pop sensation has released more than twenty studio albums that are all unique and innovative in their own special way. His fourth studio album, Suspiros is said to be one of his most successful records. It received three Grammy Award nominations and sold millions of copies worldwide.
