Hailing from UK, Dave Mason is a talented singer, guitarist and a songwriter. he has been an enjoying an active music career since 1966, composing rock, pop, folk-rock and psychedelic pop music. Mason was a part of a rock band “Traffic” which was formed in 1967 and after performing in various places and venues in the country, gathered a huge fan following and became quite famous. For several years the band had an on and off status, until finally in 1994 it disbanded for good. For his efforts and contribution as Traffic’s member, he found place on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Since his stint with the band ended, Dave Mason has been playing solo and 1970 saw the release of his first album. ‘Alone Together’ became his foremost album to hit the Billboard charts and the song “Only You Know and I Know” was declared a huge success. Mason teamed up with a friend Mama Cass Elliot, forming a duo with him in 1970. Together they released a record Dave Mason and Cass Elliot. These artists include the late Michael Jackson, Delaney Bramlett, The Rolling Stones, George Harrison, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton and many others.

He also penned the hit song "Big Thirst" of Oh How We Danced and also contributed in the track "Don't be a Hero". Dave Mason went on a tour in collaboration with George Harrison along with Eric Clapton during 1969 and 1970.
