Danny Gans
Danny Gans is an American singer and comedian who has found success as a musical mimic. Gans has been a headliner on the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding area for many years. He has been named Entertainer of the Year. His act includes impressions of practically every male singer imaginable, and changes over time.

At one time, Gans was a professional baseball player, playing for the Durham Bulls after an injury ended his sporting career, Gans turned to the entertainment industry. Gans began his career on the road. In 1995, he moved to Broadway to perform a well-received one-man show, but then decided to move to Las Vegas.

Gans started his Las Vegas stay at the Stratosphere Hotel in 1996. He moved to the Rio Hotel shortly thereafter, and then on to The Mirage in 2000. Gans is a permanent performer at The Mirage, where the Danny Gans Theatre was built for him.

His inaugural album was cross-marketed in both the pop music and CCM genres and sold in both mainstream and Christian music outlets.

Gans hadn't planned to be an entertainer. His boyhood dream was to play third base for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Sometimes, opportunity knocks more than once. Two years later, he signed that contract and went to the minor leagues. But, not long after it all came to a crashing halt as a career-ending injury turned his life upside-down.

Gans shifted his focus from baseball to entertainment. He is blessed with a marvelous singing voice, the ability to make people laugh and a rare presence that would manifest itself in his new career. Gans spent 15 years traveling throughout the United States, working at his craft and perfecting his repertoire of impressions. At the same time he became one of the most sought-after performers in the prestigious corporate world, often playing to stadium-sized crowds for major, international companies such as IBM and McDonald's and was the favorite of the Fortune 500 list. Fellow entertainers such as Bill Cosby and Natalie Cole raved about Gans, and it became apparent that he was destined to be a star.

Danny was starring on Broadway in his one man show in 1995. However he found himself longing to be home with his wife and three children. So, when the opportunity to move his show to Las Vegas presented itself, where he could settle down to a life with his family.

In doing so, Gans' commitment to his family had been doubly rewarded; the family is happy to call Las Vegas home, and Gans has taken the town by storm. On top of his record-breaking crowds and consistently sold out shows, Gans has been showered with accolades and awards. Danny Gans will celebrate 11 years in Las Vegas in May 2007. The last seven of those years being spent in his own 1,250-seat theater at the Mirage, and was again named Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year.
