The CalPhil Foundation was founded by a small group of music enthusiasts in California led by Victor Vener. It is a non-profit community working only for the love of the art and for creating awareness about the true beauty of classical music. It started out with a five-concert show called Cal Phil Festival on the Green but due to an incredible response, they now stage about ten concerts per year at Los Angeles two of the most distinctive venues around.
 
The show will be conducted by the well practiced music director of California Philharmonic Orchestra, Victor Vener. Maestro Vener's music existence goes back to college, where he pursued a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Southern California. He has been awarded many accolades for his musical direction and has received them from the Boston Symphony and the Fromm Fellowship to Tanglewood. In addition to this, he has been awarded the "Artist in Residence Grant" (by the California Art Council), the Gold Crown Award and the SAI International Award.
