They plan their tours periodically across the United States. The active schedule never lets the Cowboy Mouth fever to die down.
The name “Cowboy Mouth” rightly describes the band and their genre of rock music. This phrase is used for the “one with a loud and raucous voice.” The band's live performances are truly thunderous and raucous.
Famous for their hits “Love of My Life”, “Everybody Loves Jill”, and “Easy”, it is a band worth watching in concerts. “How Do You Tell Someone”, “Disconnected” and “Jenny Says” are some of the most popular songs by Cowboy Mouth. The song Everybody Loves Jill has an interesting history. Every time the band sings it the crowd throws red spoons at the stage. It has become a signature gesture of the Cowboy Mouth lovers.
Cowboy Mouth also performs rock versions of some of the most popular songs to pay tribute to singers like, Bruce Springsteen. They have created their version of “Born to Run” and “The Pusher”. Two songs by the band have been featured in the 1995 film The Underneath. The Disney animated movie Meet the Robinsons features the bands single “This Much Fun” released in their 2006 album, “Voodoo Shoppe”.
The albums and lyrical content of the band are meaningful. Cowboy Mouth has a story to share through their albums and songs. Unlike other rock bands, the band does not compromise on its lyrical content. Their careful selection of theme for their songs became evident with the album Voodoo Shoppe that has some songs paying tribute to the city and people of New Orleans, Louisiana who went through great pain during Hurricane Katrina.
In November 2007, the band's first full length DVD was released “The Name of the Band is Cowboy Mouth”. The DVD was recorded live in front of a packed audience at Roxy on Sunset in Hollywood. Some of the band's most classic tracks like “Light it on Fire” are from this collection.
