Details of Cory Morrow and the Ticket Luck value
Texas’s most famous country singer and songwriter Cory Morrow is back again with another one of his energetic performances. Having given you hit albums such as ‘Songs We Wish We’d Written’ and ‘Outside the Lines’, this Southwest star is now ready to excite the crowds again with his thumping beats and powerful vocals. So be sure to get Cory Morrow tickets soon and experience his magic live on-stage.
Born on the 1st of May 1972, Morrow started playing guitar at the Memorial High School in Houston, when he was just a kid. His passion for music grew with time and to further polish his skills, he became a member of the Phi Gamma Delta while studying at the Texas Tech University. Morrow moved to Austin, Texas in 1993, with the intention of making a career in music and also associated himself with the Red Dirt music scene. The Red Dirt members believe themselves to be different from the members of the popular Nashville music scene.
Cory has sold over 200,000 albums independently till date. His album ‘Outside the Lines’ released in 2002 reached phenomenal success. It reached No. 28 on Billboard's Country Album Chart, No. 3 on the magazine's Internet Sales chart, No. 8 on its Independent Album chart and No. 16 on Heatseekers chart. He was also placed at No. 7 by SoundScan among “country debut artists” in the same year.
From 1997 onwards, Morrow worked with established labels such as WriteOn, Greenhorse, Smith Entertainment, Sustain and APEX/WriteOn, New West records and also Billy Bob’s Texas. Though his first four albums; Texas Time Travelin’EP, the Cory Morrow Band, The Man That I Have Been and Double Exposure: Live were not as popular as the other ones, however they surely helped Morrow in further improving his skills as a musician. The improvement became apparent from his fifth album onwards, which marked him as a leading musician of that time.
The album ‘Brand New Me’ is different from his other works, as this one depicts a much happier and positive tone. Cory admits that after he was arrested because of over speeding and possession of cocaine, his life took a turn. Though he was not proved guilty, the shame and humiliation made him see sense and from then onwards, he decided to set everything right. He shunned the habit of taking drugs forever and started working towards creating a more positive impact on his fans. Soon afterwards, he met a Christian woman Sherry at a friend’s party. The two mutually fell in love and married thereafter. Sherry is said to have a very progressive influence on Cory which shows in his work after marriage.
Cory Morrow is also planning to play a concert on the 23rd of June this year for the annual golf tournament’s fundraiser of the Marble Falls Athletic Booster Club. The event definitely seems promising and Cory will surely not disappoint any of his fans. Morrow’s hit song ‘Texas On My Mind’ in which he collaborated with Pat Green, reached number 60 on the U.S country charts and another one called ‘Beat of Your Heart’ reached number 59. He also released a music video ‘He Carries Me’ in 2008 which was directed by Jim Shea. In addition, Morrow has even worked with popular artists such as Roger Creager, Randy Rogers Band, Reckless Kelly and Stoney Larue. His album ‘Songs We Wish We’d Written’ released in 2001 came at number 26 on the U.S country charts and at number 20 on the U.S Heat charts.
To sum it up, there are few artists as gifted as Cory Morrow and even fewer who make it to the level of popularity reached by him. His shows are always jam-packed and tickets can be very hard to get. So hurry up and get yourself Cory Morrow tickets right now!
