American country music sensation Brantley Gilbert joined the industry not so long ago, i.e. in 2005 as a singer as well as song writer. Like every great artist, Gilbert also had to face many difficulties in his early life as a musician. He started his professional career at his home town, but soon moved to Nashville, where he believed his artistic capabilities could flourish even better. He also made a record label deal with Warner Chappell Publishing for the label Average Joe’s Entertainment. His work there was mostly in collaboration with the renowned artists Jason Aldean and Colt Ford.
 
Brantley Gilbert released his first album in 2009 that was originally scheduled to be released in 2006. The title was Modern Day Prodigal Son, and the recording company decided not to release it in 2006 at the eleventh hour. It took the artist about 3 more years to have the album released finally. His second album titled Halfway to Heaven was released the next year i.e. in 2010. Both the albums returned critically and commercially positive feedback. After the release of his second album, he signed a deal with Valory Music Group division of Big Machine Records, and released Halfway to Heaven again as a deluxe edition.
 
Many of his songs have reached top positions on country music charts, including Country Must Be Country Wide that was featured at number one position on Hot Country Songs charts.
