By 1993, Big Head Todd Monsters had gained a massive following due to their live touring, leading to the release of a live album, a recording of their concert at the H.O.R.D.E Festival held in 1993. The same year, they were signed onto Giant Records and released their platinum certified album which contained three chart topping rock singles; Circle, Bittersweet and Broken Hearted Savior. Their next album was released in 1994, charting on the Billboard 200, and was followed by a song for the movie, Blown Away.
In 1997, Big Head Todd Monsters released another album, produced by Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads fame. In 1998, they released a live album and followed it up with a studio album in 2002. In 2004, they recorded another album, released through Warner Music, as well as a live album. The members of the Space Shuttle Discovery specially requested the band to write a song, which was released on iTunes and was even used by Hilary Clinton in her presidential campaign in 2008.
In 2007, the band performed an annual charity concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater for autism research with the recordings sold in USB flash drives. In 2008, they released their eight studio album followed by a tour in support of the album. In 2010, they began recording new music, including songs writer by Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and Cherster Burnett. In 2011, they began a special project labeled Big Head Blues Club, recording an album that celebrated the music of Robert Johnson alongwith the likes of B. B. King, David Honeyboy Edwards, Ruthie Foster and Hubert Sumlin.
